It's been a crappy few weeks. A lot of you who follow me on Twitter know what's happening. Thank you so much for your support and kind words. Your friendships mean everything to me. I'm not sure I would have been able to handle this tough time without your help. *Big Internet Hug*
On a lighter note my Brazen Cosmetics order came today. I knew it was going to come because Ohio was hit with a heat wave. My stuff usually comes during a weather change. My products were a bit warm from the weather but nothing seemed melty. I ordered the Mystery Grab Bag half expecting it to be full of samples. Uhm no. It had a full sized perfume, lip gloss and eyeshadow along with two samples that were given to me for free. Holy crap what a deal! I'm struggling a bit with the lip gloss though. I tried putting it on with a brush but it streaked on my top lip. (Most glosses do that though because my lips are slopped weird.)

What I used:

Fyrinnae Pixie Epoxy
Fyrinnae e/s in Gilded Wings (Gold leaning towards bronze applied all over the lid.)
Fyrinnae e/s in Bifrost (Perfect yellow used on the inner corner of the lid.)
Brazen Cosmetics e/s in Miss Independent (Red wine purple applied in the crease.)
Wet n Wild Brulee (Used to Highlight.)
Estee Lauder Eyeshadow Stick Gold (Used on the lower lash line.)
Brazen Cosmetics Glitter Mega Watt (Yellow and green glitter used under the lower lash line.)
Milani eyeliner in black
Almay Liquid eyeliner in black

Estee Lauder Lipstick in Rose Tea

What do you think of Brazen Cosmetics? I'm thinking a review will come soon. :D (Along with swatches of course.)
p.s. The perfume Sexy in the City, smells amazing. I don't usually wear fruity perfumes but this smells juicy and delicious. I want La La Lychee too, if it smells as good as this I need it!

Rampid Indulgence-fotd

Hmm I think I'm going to do a review on Persephone Minerals next. I only have a few of the shadows but I've fallen in love with them.
Hopefully soon my BFF will give into letting me do her make-up. I drew up a face chart for her after a long discussion. We're both getting back into our gothy roots so I kind of want to do her up like the bad ass she is. Sadly she's lazy when it comes to removing make-up and whines at me when I do heavy make-up on her. I can't blame her, sometimes it takes a lot to remove some of my more dramatic looks.

What I used:

L'oreal True Match Concealer in Fair Cool
Fyrinnae Mineral Foundation in Opal
Evil Shades Blush in Gossamer (Cool pink with the blue/violet duo-chrome.)
Morgana Mysterious Mineral Veil (Used to highlight all over the face.)

Fyrinnae Pixie Epoxy
Persephone Minerals e/s in Rampid (Hot hot pink used on the lid.)
Persephone Minerals e/s in Blackberry Indulgence (Deep berry purple used in the crease.)
Evil Shades e/s in Valkyries (Beautiful ivory pink used to highlight.)
Milani eyeliner in black
Almay Liquid eyeliner in black
Maybelliene Falsies Black Drama mascara

Estee Lauder Double Wear lipstick in Candy

I'm interested in buying more cyber locks or making my own. I'm looking at I Kick Shins which Phyrra recommended once on her blog. I was curious if you guys have any recs for sites where I can buy supplies or pre-made ones? (Or a good place to buy plus sized goth clothes would help.)
Thanks for looking!

Morgana Cryptoria-A review

Sample baggies of all my Morgana shadows.
My three Morgana Lipsticks : (From left to right) Roses and Violets, Azalea Blue, and Valentine
Eyeshadows: (Left to right, starting at the top.) Warped, Zombie Ambrosia, Ectoplasm, Twinkling Cherries, Druscilla, and Coraline

Morgana Cryptoria is a wonderful all stop shop for your gothy, punky and make-up lovin needs. There is hair dye, brushes and GLITTER! Not to mention the beautifully made cosmetics like lipstick, eyeshadow, mineral veils and foundation for the paler end of the spectrum. The costumer service is really great and the owner Melissa is really nice.

Morgana is famous for their wide range of lip colors. There are pinks, reds, greens, purples, blues, yellows and even blacks. This gives many women the chance to explore their creative side and lend a helping hand to goths who want a cruelty free black. The formula is creamy, lasts long, and isn't drying. I lick my lips a lot so usually my lip color fades quickly. I find that my Morgana colors last far longer then any other lipstick I own.
Some of their lip colors are a bit lacking in the pigmentation department but I have only encountered one that has that problem. My pot of Shrieking Violet is a bit hard, the actual purple takes a few layers to accurately "purple-fy" the lips. However the other three lipsticks I own are just plain wonderful. Roses and Violets has become my favorite lip color ever. I used to reach for my Nyx round lipstick in Tea Rose but now I grab my Holy Grail first. Friends have tried to borrow it from me before but I usually shout "NO!"

Pigmentation: 9/10 Some of the lipsticks are less pigmented then others.

Application/Staying power: 10/10 Applied well, always creamy and wonderful.

Price: 8/10 Could be a bit cheaper but these are crafted well.

Eyes shadow-
I love these shadows. They apply well, last for a long time on the right primer, and look great. When I apply them they stay bright after blending. Druscilla is my favorite hot pink eyeshadow, when I apply it I always get compliments. I usually use Pixie Epoxy as a base for my eyeshadow after my primer. I noticed that Morgana's eyeshadows apply a bit patchy over the pixie epoxy. However the shadow do well over the nyx jumbo eyeshadow pencils and over just plain primer.

Pigmentation: 10/10

Application/Blending: 9/10 I love how smooth they apply but I took a point off for the P.E. issue.

Price: 10/10 The price is good too, especially when the shadows are on sale.

Melissa frequently has Full Moon sales where select items are up to half off. Around the Holidays there are even better sales on the cosmetics. That's when I usually snatch up the great deals. I'm hoping to grab her most frequent eyeshadow collections the next time she has a sale. The Shifty Eyed collection is freaking BEAUTIFUL! You should check out the swatches on the website. I'm seriously in love with Totally Tubular which is a lipstick. From what I understand it's a dupe of Mac's Candy Yum Yum, which is one of my lust products that I can never find.
All in all I think you should check out the site. You will love the products, especially the lipsticks!
(Special thanks goes to Heather for editing this!)

Zombies Like Us-fotd

I finally started feeling better yesterday after forcing myself to get out of bed. I worked outside for a bit, the sun made me feel a lot better. I applied this around seven at night the shadow on the jumbo pencil didn't last for very long. I think it would have been better if I had just applied it over the TFSI. I wish I had something interesting to blog about but uhm... I don't.

What I used:

Nyx Jumbo e/s pencil in Milk
Morgana Cryptoria e/s in Ectoplasm (Medium lime green used on the lid.)
Morgana Cryptoria e/s in Zombie Ambrosia (Royal blue used in the crease.)
Nyx Jumbo e/s in Purple (Used on the lower lash line.)
Evil Shades e/s in Nightshade (Pinky purple blended over the purple jumbo pencil.)
Wet n Wild palette in Night Elf (The shimmery golden/white used to highlight.)
Almay Liquid eyeliner in black
Milani eyeliner in black

Morgana Cryptoria Lipstick in Valentine

*twiddles thumbs* So uhm what's new with you?

Last Chance Pants Dance-fotd

This look is so much brighter in person ugh. The pictures make it looked washed out. I swear it's not. Boo! I'm a bit sick as of right now so I won't be posting anymore looks this week. Hopefully I will have some reviews written up for you guys. I'm not sure if I want to do swatches given my current condition but if you want them I will force the fiance to swatch them.

What I used:

Fyrinnae P.E.
Fyrinnae e/s Eternal Innocence (Emerald green used to make "winged eyeliner" shape. Also used on the lower lash line.)
Sugarpill e/s in Tipsy (Vivid grass green used to fill in the rest of the lid.)
High Voltage e/s in Starbreaker (Blended into the crease in a rounded like shape.)
Wet n Wild e/s in Brulee (Matte ivory used to highlight.)
Sugarpill e/s in Goldilux (Sparkly gold used to line the upper lash line and inner corner.)
Nyx Jumbo e/s pencil in Milk (Used on water line.)

Wet n Wild lipstick in Spiked with Rum

Did you order anything from the heartsy/Concrete Minerals sale? I splurged a bit because heartsy gives you five dollars for joining and I only needed four dollars to actually buy the coupon. I was pretty pleased. I bought Wicked,Temptress and Hearts. I wish I had gotten Prude or Unity but those can be saved for other purchases. Have you tried Concrete Minerals? What do you think? I'd love to hear your thoughts.

Technicolor Dream World-Fotd

So I read this article on yahoo where a girl had her boyfriend pick her clothes out for a week. It seemed like a great idea actually. So I asked my fiance,Shaun, to pick out three colors for me to wear the next day. He picked out an eyeshadow he called a TARDIS blue, a bright green and a beautiful red. I was a little frightened at first since I didn't know how the heck I was going to wear it. I decided to try a cut crease since I hadn't done one in a while. I love the way it turned out! I kind of wish that I had left the lid all one color and used the blue to "cut the crease." I think I blended pretty badly on the lid. I'm going to ask him to do this every so often cause this was defiantly fun.

What I used:

Fyrinnae P.E.
Hi-Fi cosmetics e/s in Raw Shock (Shimmery green used on the first half of the lid.)
Persephone minerals e/s in Escort (Hooker blue of awesomeness used on the outer half of the lid.)
Sugarpill e/s in Poison Plum (Perfect purple used to make the cut crease.)
Morgana Cryptoria e/s in Twinkling Cherries (Used above the purple blended lightly.)
Wet n Wild e/s in Brulee (Used to highlight and define the inner corner.)
Estee Lauder e/s in Pink Ice (Used to re-highlight under the brows and inner corner.)
Almay liquid eyeliner in black
Milani eyeliner in black

Nyx Round lipstick in Echoe

What do you think? Do you think Shaun did a good job picking out colors? Next time I think I'll ask him to pick out a lip color and blush next time too. :D

Hi-Chews-Contest Entry/fotd

Hi-chews are a deliciously chewy, as the name suggests, starburst like candy from Japan. They come in a few different flavors as well as some limited edition ones. My favorite flavors are the melon, strawberry, lychee and cherry ones. Those are the flavors I based the look on. I wish I had added some lemon or orange too but I didn't think of it at the time.
The contest idea is great and a lot of other girls posted some AMAZING looks! Check out the contest entries here and the actual contest rules here.

What I used:

L'oreal True Match concealer in Cool Ivory
Stila Tinted Illuminating Moisturizer
Nyx Blush in Pinky

Fyrinnae P.E.
Shiro Cosmetics e/s in Acid (Bright acid green used on the lid for the melon flavor.)
Brazen Cosmetics e/s in Trixie (Lovely pink used in the crease.)
Sugarpill e/s in Poison Plum (Perfect purple used gently in the crease and lower lash line.)
Almay liquid eyeliner in black
Milani eyeliner in black

Wet n Wild lipliner in... er something...
Nyx Round lipstick in Chaos

I'd love for you guys to vote for me but if you see an entry you like better please vote! All these ladies are lovely.

It's very cold and rainy right now. I need a dab of sunshine right now and guzzling orange juice just isn't enough. This warm, tropical flower like look came to mind when I was digging through my eyeshadow drawer. I love the nyx liquid eyeliner I used but for some reason the pictures don't show how truly bright of a blue it is. :(

What I used:

Fyrinnae P.E.
Fyrinnae e/s in Brifrost (Bright yellow with beautiful shimmer used on the inner corner of the lid.)
Fyrinnae e/s in Electro-Koi (Sparkly orange used on the outer half of the lid.)
Sobe Botanicals e/s in Zen Fire (Orange based red used in the crease.)
Sleek Bohemian palette e/s matte yellow (Used on the lower lash line.)
Nyx studio liquid eyeliner in extreme blue
Nyx jumbo e/s pencil in purple (Used on the waterline. Meh should have used flipside.)

Random pink lip liner
Morgana Cryptoria lipstick in Valentine

What are you're favorite color combos? What colors do you think I should use next? I'm running out of ideas and I'd love some inspiration!

Lolita fiend-fotd

I needed some cheering up today. So I plugged myself into some anime and turned off my brain. Thank goodness for friends, cookies and anime otherwise I'd go crazy. *sigh*
This look is based on several lolita looks I've seen on tumblr recently. I love the lolita and gothic lolita lifestyle/dress but I don't have the money or the sewing ability to make my own dresses. (Plus the dress companies rarely make those types of clothes in my size. TT.TT) Do you like any Japanese sub-cultures? I'm crazy for all Japanese fads to be honest. :D

What I used:

Fyrinnae P.E.
Shiro Cosmetics e/s in Lance the Dragon Trainer (Beautiful light violet used on the lid.)
Shiro Cosmetics e/s in Mew (Playful pink used in the crease and blended upwards.)
Estee Lauder e/s in pink ice (Used on the inner corner of the lid.)
Wet n Wild e/s in Brulee (Matte ivory used to highlight the browbone.)
Nyx jumbo e/s pencil in Milk (Used on the waterline.)
E.L.F. 32 smokey e/s palette (The pinky purple and the violety purple used on the lower lash line.)
Almay liquid eyeliner in black (Used to make a very thin line.)
Maybelliene Falsies mascara

Morgana Cryptoria lipstick in Roses and Violets (This lipstick is my holy grail product. I lauve it!)

The other day I bought the ELF 32 smokey e/s palette at Target for $3. The color pay off on these shadows are terrible but I figured I could use them for making bruises or just when I wanted some sheer shadows. Yay for cheap stuff that's usable! :D

On the Road to Viridian City-Natalie FOTD

This is my good friend Natalie or as she's known on the interwebs as Little Isis. I met her in high school when she fell off of our bus and my fiance went to rescue her. After we dusted her off we discovered we all liked the same things we became fast friends. Lets fast forward to now, Natalie is a famous political blogger who is working on a novel, writes for her school news paper and is majoring in social work. I've done her make-up in the past but that's before I discovered brushes haha. I had fun working with her even those she squirms a bit.

What I used:

Urban Decay Surreal skin mineral powder in Supernova
Estee Lauder bronzer in 001
Wet n Wild blush in Heather silk

Sobe Botanicals Stick it! (Love this stuff! It's just as good as P.E. :D)
Shiro Cosmetics e/s in S.S. Anne (Beautiful light brown/taupe used all over the lid.)
Shiro Cosmetics e/s in Golem (Chocolatey brown used in the crease.)
Shiro Cosmetics e/s in Brock the Rock (Warmer brown used to warm up the crease.)
Wet n Wild e/s in Brulee (A matte ivory to highlight the brow bone.)
Wet n Wild e/s palette in Night Elf (Shimmery ivory used on the inner corner of the lid.)
Almay liquid eyeliner in black (Natalie lined her own eyes!)

Fyrinnae lip luster in Lollypop-pop

I am eternally jealous of Natalie's curly hair. My hair is wavy and never stays curly or straight. Bah! Hopefully Natalie will let me do more make-up one her in the future. I was thinking a purple look or a forest green what colors do you think would look good on her? I'm thinking mostly warm colors because her skin is tan/warm toned.

Technological Enchantress-fotd

I love Criminal Minds. It's become one of my favorite shows thanks to the tech goddess Penelope Garcia. Seriously this girl is awesome. She's smart, classy and dresses really cute. Her make-up is always impeccable I could go on fawning about her forever. She's the reason I dyed my hair red with a pink streak. Whilst watching it yesterday night I noticed she had very shimmery/glittery green lid color with a purple lower lash line. I'm pretty sure she was wearing m.a.c.'s candy yum yum lipstick which looked really cute with her bright pink cheeks.
:D What is your favorite Garcia outfit or make-up look?

What I used:

Fyrinnae P.E.
Fyrinnae Arcane magic e/s in Electric Stardust (Nearly minty green used on the lid.)
Persephone minerals e/s in No tip No Strip (Lime green used in the crease.)
Persephone minerals e/s in Dank (Dark green used on the outer crease and blended inwards.)

Milani eyeliner in black
Almay liquid eyeliner in black

Un named bright pink lipliner
Morgana Cryptoria lipstick in Azalea Blue
Fyrinnae lip luster in Lollypop-pop

I have a few eyeshadow reviews I need to write which companies should I review first? Shiro cosmetics, Brazen cosmetics or Persephone minerals?

Bitter Frost-fotd

I haven't worn blue in a while which surprises me since I love blue. I used to hate it when I was younger. The only blue eyeshadow I could find were the frosty baby blue that girls would apply all the way up to the brow bone. One of my Mom's friends would wear this look daily with thick black eyeliner and spidery lashes. It wasn't till I started getting into beauty blogging that I grew to love blue eyeshadow. What's your opinion on blue eyeshadow? Do you love it or hate it?

What I used:

Sobe Botanicals Stick it
Fyrinnae e/s Sleepy Hollow (Ocean blue w/ gold used on the inner corner of the lid.)
Persephone minerals e/s in Escort (Hooker blue/nearly violet used on the rest of the lid and lower lash line.)
High Voltage e/s in Frostbite (Frosty medium blue used in the crease.)
Wet n Wild eyeshadow in Brulee (Matte ivory used to highlight.)
Estee Lauder e/s in Pink Ice (Used on the inner corner of the lid and by the eyebrow.)
H.I.P. Chrome eyeliner in Violet (Used on the lower waterline.)
Almay liquid eyeliner in black
Milani eyeliner in black

Fyrinnae Lip Luster in Lollypop-pop

Sorry I don't have much to blog about today! Maybe tomorrow I will. ;)

Golden Spring-fotd

I haven't been doing a lot of creative looks lately. When I go out I either grab a bright color with it's darker counter part or I slap on some eyeliner. It was getting boring. I drew inspiration from the budding leaves on the trees. They look golden with light spots of spring green. It's beautiful! I love spring time!

What I used:

Esee Lauder Double Wear eyeshadow stick in bronze
Wet n Wild e/s palette in Vanity
-The middle gold color used on the lid.
-Bronze color used on the outer corner of the eye.
-Matte warm cream used to highlight.
-Sheer ivory/gold used to highlight the inner corner of the eye.
Wet n Wild e/s palette in I dream of Greenie (The "lid" color used on the crease.)
Wet n wild e/s palette in Night Elf (The sparkly black used to line the upper and lower lashes.)

Wet n wild lipstick in 552A (Pink based red.)

Thanks to all my free time I've started re-writing my Wendigo short story. It's going to be better then it was before. Yeeee!

Sweet Smelling Smoke-fotd

SCHOOL IS OVER! I have three months of freedom until school starts again. I really love Kent and I miss my friends but I'm glad to be home. I wish my car wasn't broken though. I feel like I've lost a bit of freedom. *sigh* Hopefully we'll have the car fixed soon so I can get a job. (And thus BUY MORE MAKE-UP! I mean pay off my credit card bill... paying off my bill is what I meant.)

What I used:

Fyrinnae Pixie Epoxy
Fyrinnae e/s in Catrina Cabaret (Beautiful grey with purple duo-chrome used on the lid.)
Fyrinnae e/s in Darling Misfits (Pinky-purple used in the crease. Much brighter in person.)

-Purple/grey used on the lower lid and to blended lightly into the crease.
Almay liquid eyeliner in black

Morgana Cryptoria lipstick in Roses and Violets
I hope you are having a wonderful day! I'm so excited to be writing and blogging again. Look forward to more looks, more reviews and some crazy stories.

The Pin-up Girls Finale-fotd

Finals are almost over. I have two more exams and then I am finished with school for three months. I'm so glad I chose to go to Kent even though I didn't do very well grade wise. I'm still up because I'm studying. And I'm blogging 'cause I'm taking a small break. :>

What I used:

Nyx jumbo eyeshadow pencil in Milk (Spread all over lids.)
Wet n Wilds e/s palette in Vanity
-Matte cream spread over corners of the lid.
-Golden shimmery brown spread over lid/outer corner of the crease.
-Matte dark brown used in the crease and blended upwards gently.
-Shimmery yellow cream used to highlight the brow bone
Urban Decay 24/7 eyeliner in black
Nyx e/s in Black (To set the liner.)
Wet n Wild Mascara

Wet N Wild lip pencil in Berry red (A bright blue based red.)
Wet n Wild lipstick in 552A (A berry stained red.)
Essence Lipgloss in Bubble babe (Clear with light pink sparkles.)
Hard Candy Lipgloss in Chill Out (Clear with purple and violet sparkles.)

Do you like the very first picture? I love it so much! I wanted a close up of my lips and boy did I get it!
