I finally figured out the best way to use poison plum. You take a denser blended brush, pile on the shadow then tap on and blend. I used the E.L.F. studio contouring brush to achieve this. The brush is one of the best three dollars I've ever spent. I don't know of any dupes for this brush but that's because I don't really invest in fancy brushes. If you think you know of a good dupe for the brush please leave it in the comments below.
I thought I'd try a different way of taking close up shots of the eye make-up. If you click on it the picture will become bigger and you will be able to see the sparkles better. (As well as my huge pores.)
What I used:
Eyes-
TFIS
Fyrinnae Pixie Epoxy
Fyrinnae e/s in Futuristic Glam Rock (Perfect baby blue used on the lid and the lower lashline.)
Fyrinnae e/s in La Noche (Beautiful midnight blue used on the the outer part of the lid/crease.)
Sugarpill e/s in Poison Plum (Perfect purple used on the crease.)
Fyrinnae e/s in French Vanilla Shake (Used to highlight.)
Almay Liquid eyeliner in black
Milani eyeliner in black
mascara
lips-
Morgana Cryptoria Lipstick in Valentine (Patted on gently.)
Alright I'm off to write a whole bunch of entries in a language journal I have to do for school. I was writing it on my laptop but I lost the entry so I have to write all 75 entries by hand...It's due very soon... like... Thursday. Yeah. Pray for me. (loooollll)
Eep this is gorgeous and looks so lovely on you. =]
ReplyDeleteHmmm, I may have to get that brush! This is gaaaaaawjus, by the way, I love the purple wing!
ReplyDeleteThis look is really beautiful!
ReplyDeleteBTW, I just nominated you for a blog award.

Droooooooooooooooool. This look is KILLER! The blue is gorgeous, and then the purple is brilliant, and with your hair?! Damn! Love it!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous colour combination, I really love this look! Also, I agree with you about Poison Plum (and other Sugarpill pressed shadows), you really do have to pack it on to a dense brush and tap it on.
