Decadence A BLIX inspired look + Edited to add in pictures of my furry children

I was looking through Glitter is my Crack which is Blix's blog and she had this gorgeous copper and purple look up that reminded me of a painting. The colors were from Aromaleigh but since I don't have those colors I used Hi-Fi eyeshadows that were similar shades to the ones she used. I really like how this look turned out. It's so much deeper than the pictures make it seem. I love how this turned out the colors look so pretty together. It's not my usual bright plus bright equals awesome type of look but seriously jewel tones are my new friends. This post was originally going to be longer but blogger decided to eat half of the words I had written. So yes...

Chihauhaus are very cuddly by the way. My baby is a wee blonde chihuahua that is the best snuggler there is. Yesterday I saw some people I knew from high school we were catching up so I said " Oh let me show you my daughter! She's so adorable." I pulled out my phone and showed them pictures of Abby. Haha they were a bit confused but laughed none the less. The reason I bring this up is because I was cuddling her right as I was writing this. This section was pointless to write haha.

Strawberry Grape Bubble Gum

Oh yes I'm on a role. I've missed using make-up this past week. I used all Hi-Fi because I've really grown to love the eyeshadow. It applies so creamy I just have to swipe my brush once to have full coverage color. I used my favorite colors from Hi-Fi cosmetics for this look, it turned out really well. Though I wish I had a medium pink to blend with the Live Large and Pins and Needles better. I felt like the colors weren't gradient enough so they look a little blocky when the lid is closer.
I also went went for a berry lip color instead of my usual pink.I love this color I have no idea why I don't wear it more.
In other news I love the new Doctor. I was so scared I wasn't going to like him but seriously Matt Smith is amazing. I also love his companion Amy Pond. She is similar to Donna but has a better attitude. ( Donna is my favorite companion so I am in no way dissing her amazingness.)

Er... actually I've been sick and dealing with a lot of emotional stuff. It's been a rough two weeks. Sorry for the lack of make-up but with all the crying and rushing around I haven't been wearing much. Thankfully all the crap is over so now I can focus on school. :D
I picked these colors because coral/ peach and teal/aqua are really hot right now. They're very summery I love them together. Phyrra did a similar look using a peachy color with a teal underneath her eye. It was really hot so yay for coping!

Hello everyone!! I went Melonhead hunting last night. If you don't know what a Melonhead is you obviously don't live in NorthEast Ohio. There is this legend about a man who experimented on children to increase the size of their heads. Tired of being tortured by the psycho Doctor the children burned down the lab, murdered their captor and escaped into the Kirtland forest. They became feral from the harsh Ohio winters and scare food. Some say they even eat flesh. In the middle of the night driving on the moon light hills it's probably the scariest story you'll ever here.
We all scared our selves shit less. Oh boy I nearly cried when one of my friends screamed about something following the car. I also saw some pin pricks of light looking from up high on one of the trees. I'm hoping it was only an owl. *shudders* Ohio is full of Urban Legends like this one. I'd love to explore every one. X3

Atomic Waste FOTD inspired by FrescoPhyrra

Miss Phyrra of FrescoPhyrra has been my inspiration for two years know. I found her blog in 2008 which I'm glad to say changed my life. If it wasn't for her I would never have found Fyrinnae, Aromaleigh, Hi-Fi cosmetics and many other Indie brands that I've grown to love. Her blog taught me how to experiment with color, line my upper lid properly and broaden my make-up knowledge. For this I owe her a debt that cannot be expressed through words. A few days ago ( maybe a week I'm unsure.) Phyrra used a bright green and teal together from Concrete Minerals. I feel in love with the combo and couldn't wait to try it. When Life Gets You Down FOTD +Haul

Bah having a crappy few days so I needed a bright look to make me feel better. Being a lady sucks sometimes but being left behind by friends is even worse. :/ At least pokemon and the boy are making me feel better. :3
I placed my Aromaleigh order on Monday and received it Thursday which as you see is super fast. I bought two yuzu flavored lip balms, a few shadows from the en pointe collection, a shadow from the Rocks! collection, a beautiful shadow from the bette noir collection and You're a doll! Metamorphosis finishing powder which I'm probably going to order a full size of. I love it so much. :d I used a few of my new Aromaleigh stuffies in this look. :3

It seems however that the fairies of Saint Patrick's Day didn't want me to get pinched, when I woke up this morning I found a green eyeliner I thought I'd lost months ago. Hahaha I'm convinced we have Brownies. Most Irish households do. :D I know I have black hair but that's because my family is Black Irish. The Black Irish are the descendants of French or Italian tribes that moved to Ireland sometime in the early B.C.s. Here Comes the Sun FOTD

The sun is out again after doing a two day disappearing act. I thought for sure winter was coming back. It's happened here in Ohio, one day it will be warm enough for shorts then the next day we have a blizzard. Thankfully it was just the normal spring weather aka lots of rain. I thought I'd celebrate the suns return by doing a bright pink Aromaleigh look. I have three Aromaleigh pinks Strawberry Despair, Boiling Point and Raspberry Beret, I don't care much for Raspberry Beret but I don't want to trade it or give it away since I've used a lot of it. I feel like I'd be cheating some one. So instead when I do extreme looks on other people I use it on those whose skin tone is a little darker than mine. :D Last Halloween infact I used it on my guy friend Aaron who was the tooth fairy. He couldn't get the glitter off for a week. Hee hee.
Yesterday I placed my first Aromaleigh order in about two years. I know such a long time but I wasn't really digging their formula at first. When Fyrinnae came out with Pixie Epoxy I tried some of my Aromaleigh shadows with it and I fell in love again. It goes to show that you have to have the right base for you when it comes to eyeshadows. I can't wait for my shadows to come. *grins*

Pixies on the Edge of Life FOTD

I went to the Cleveland Asian Market today. It's one of my favorite things to do since there is not much to do up here in North East Ohio. We came back with loads of food and drink some Japanese, some Chinese and a few of bits of Korean. When I go down to Columbus I usually eat all Asian food. I've become rather addicted to California rolls as well as miso soup. Mmm. Someday I hope to go to Japan. *sighs dreamily *
