Holika Holika Clearing Petite BB Cream-Review

(Un-blended, you only need a very small amount to cover the whole face.)

(Blended into the skin, it is a bit darker then my own.)

The beauty world is a buzz with reviews of different BB creams! There are a TON of different brands that offer BB creams but I chose Holika Holika which has an adorable witch theme to their packaging. The brand has several different types of petite BB creams but I chose the skin clearing kind. I have oily skin and the cream claims to reduce sebum as well as clear the skin. It has a scent to it that I can only attribute to the Tea tree oil. I didn't like the scent but it didn't stay on the skin once applied.

The cream is a beige color that looked like it'd be to dark for me. Though the first time I blended it into my skin it looked great. It has a light coverage with a matte finish. I have ok skin with occasional break outs and discoloration on my cheeks and chin. I noticed that I didn't need concealer to hide the yellow,red and peach tones that showed through most tinted moisturizers.

If you are looking for a good tinted moisturizer I would recommend this. If you are spotty or have dark spots I would use a concealer with this. I'm sad to say that this product would not work with darker skin. Illamasqua does make a BB cream like foundation called skin base that has a wide range of colors. If you are pale like me and you are looking for a lighter coverage then you'd like this.

You Spoiled Brat-FOTD/Mini Wet N Wild Review

Alright I gave into the swatches and went out to buy the new Wet N Wild palettes. I bought the I dream of Greenie one and the Spoiled Brat one. I'm a sucker for pinks and greens right now. (And reds and blues and purples and...) I really like Wet N Wild's shadows. They're smooth, pigmented and not chalky at all. They even have tiny little shimmery-bits in the shadow that actually transfers onto the eye. They have a wide array of textures including matte, glitter, frost. and what looks like a pearl texture. I've used the shadows over my too faced shadow insurance and over pixie epoxy. The pixie epoxy makes the colors brighter and stick longer but even the too faced shadow insurance can pick up the tiny sparkles the shadows have.
If you want some amazing eyeshadows for a really great price ( THREE BUCKS.) then go for Wet N Wild. They also have a large selection of shadows, lipsticks, blushes and more. I really like their lipstick too but I only have one of the lipsticks so I can't really do a good review on it.
I'm sorry the pictures are so yellow. The pink is actually really vibrant.

Hi-Fi Cosmetics Review

I don't often do reviews because I feel like there are many other bloggers who do them better. Reviews help me choose what colors I want to order, what brand I want to order from and whose long shipping time is worth the wait. I don't buy things any more with out reading or researching the products firs. That being said lets move on to the review.

Hi-Fi Cosmetics

Pricing-I first ordered from Hi-Fi Cosmetics a couple of months ago. I bought ten samples for eight dollars which is an amazing price if I do say so myself. I picked out several colors Phyrra recommended and a few shadows/glitters based on the names.

Ordering- Ordering was really easy since it was on etsy.

Shipping-The shipping was fast, I believe it arrived with in a week. When I placed my second order I mentioned how the shipping seemed longer then normal. To my surprise she checked up on my order and resent it since it.

Products-The eyeshadows are very 'soft" feeling and finely milled. When I first applied it I was surprised at how little product needed to be used to cover my whole eye. The shadows feel as smooth as silk when you apply it. When you blend the shadows don't muddle up the remain true to the color just a bit softened. The Paparazzi Flash Powder (Glitters) are also very fine. The glitter is small enough to fit into my pores and if it gets into your eye they don't hurt. I recommend using Pixie epoxy to make the shadow stick but still be removable. I really love both products and I use the eyeshadow often. I haven't tried her lipgloss, gel blush or any of the other products she offers but I've read they are really great.

Over All- I love these eyeshadows the names are great and I love the quick shipping. Though this is a really basic review I think you will be able to tell how much I love these products by how much I use them. :D
