When I was young we started studying Greek mythology in school. I felt drawn to the subject and the idea of Gods and Goddesses who made mortal mistakes. Athena was my favorite, she was strong, brave and smart. All the things I, a cry baby who couldn't stand up for herself,wanted to be like. After we stopped studying my interest in the subject never waned. I had a book on the Greek Gods that literally lost it's binding because I read it so much. I watched Percy Jackson and the Lightening Thief today which made me remember my love of the Greek mythos. It was actually really good. I really liked the actors that played the gods. Also Hades as a Metal band member oh my god yes. He looked amazing. Sean Bean was in it as Zeus oh jeez I freaked a bit, I don't know why he was such a douche though.

ReplyDeleteHades is one of my favourite Gods though, I feel bad for him because of Zeus tricking him into having to rule the Underworld, and everybody hates him and thinks he causes death when he doesnt =/
