Swoon A story of Love-Fotd
My name is Rush Samson, I'm gay and I'm married.
We met at a Gay Pride Parade. He was tall and thin with messy black hair and a gorgeous jaw line. I was short and muzzy headed from waking up early in the morning to travel to the city. When he introduced himself as Jake my knees went weak. Legends say that you are connected to your true love by a red string, I saw the red string wrapped around his finger attached to my heart. There was a huge difference between our lives. I a preachers son, he the much loved child of two hippies. When I came out I was cast out of my home, when he came out his parents threw a party for him.
We both liked anime, sushi and cats. Long walks on the beach and bubble baths with a can of beer. It was funny how similar we were. "I confess I don't usually date gingers." He joked running a hand through my orange hair. "But you were to cute to pass up. Plus Ron was always my favorite Harry Potter character." I just smiled at him.
We went to the Pride Parade again, this time as husband and husband. Or at least husband and husband in Canada because the country we call home won't recognize our love. If something happens to Jake or I we wouldn't be covered by one another insurance. My life insurance wouldn't go to him if I died early and god forbid if we try and adopt a baby. Even my father, who hates me with a flaming passion, would be able to visit me in the hospital while my husband would have to wait outside. I hope some one reads this and realized how unfair this is. Love should never be judged.
Happy belated Coming Out Day. <3

Beautiful!
ReplyDeleteLove the bright waterline and clean lower lashline. And the clean outer edge. I just think this whole look is really clean and fresh and pretty ^__^
ReplyDeleteI love the simplicity of this :)
ReplyDeleteLittleIsis- Fanks mate.
ReplyDeleteRobyn- Yeah... it does. :/ America is letting religion rule instead of viewing these issues as a civil rights matter. It sucks.
Silhouette- Ah thank you so much. :D I really like how it turned out me'self.
Cydonian- Thank you.
Very pretty :)
ReplyDeleteLove the story you wrote, too.
