Happy Halloween!

And Happy Samhain to my witchy friends. Lets celebrate by watching Halloween tutorials on youtube and drinking loads of spiked apple cider. I'm going to be passing out candy this year instead of trick or treating. I think I may be a "zipper zombie." What are you going to be this year sparkle friends?

HALLOWEENIE?

Oh no! I didn't get any pictures of the zombies, drag queens and killer clowns I did this weekend. My weekend was so full I barely had to time to think let alone take pictures. I'm really sorry. Let me assure you they all looked really awesome. When I went Trick or Treating (with my twelve year old brother ok calm down.) the whole crew was subjected to compliments and stares. The only thing that bothered me was the trend of young women dressed in short skirts and sleeveless tops. I saw a group of these ladies out whilst I was trick or treating. Sorry ladies, you're going to get a cold with your knockers and knickers hanging out like that.
While I didn't get pictures of what I wore for Halloween I DID get pictures of my brother's zombie make-up for a costume party and pictures of my fiance with a head wound. I was bored and I forced him to let me do this to him. Isn't he a sport?

Slyphs, Nymphs, and Salamanders-Halloween Ideas

I was debating whether or not to put this up since it's not my best work. I decided to because Halloween is coming up and the girls asked me when I was putting their pictures on my blog. These are two of my friends on my floor. They're often subjected to my horror looks as well as my every day shenanigans. I'm pretty thankful they're my friends. Most of the time they'll find me holed up in my room looking like a kicked puppy. Instead of ignoring my pity party they'll pluck me from my room and force me to go the local Hookah bar with them or sit me down in the lounge to hang out. I pay them back by doing their make-up. They're not the type of girls to wear much color so I usually put a load of different ones on them.

What I used:

Me-(The Fire Faery or Salamander Look.)
TFSI
Fyrinnae Pixie Epoxy
120 Palette
-Red on the lid.
-Neon Orange in the crease
-Shimmery orange on the crease
-Yellow above the orange
-Pink as a highlighting shade
-Orange under the eye
-Red Lipliner on the water line
NYC Liquid eyeliner in black
Mascara
Red Lipsticks in Alarm by Rimmel

-Soft Creamy yellow used in the crease

NYC Liquid Eyeliner in Black
Nyx Lipstick in Peach lightly blotted
Soft Pink on the cheeks

Julia-(Slyph or Frost Faery)
TFSI
NYX Jumbo eyeshadow Pencil
Fyrinnae Pixie Epoxy
120 Palette-
-Bright purple used on the lid
-Bright blue used on the crease
-Shimmery White to highlight
-Shimmery Lilac used on the inner corner of the lid to blend inwards
NYC Liquid eyeliner in Black
Urban Decay 24/7 eyeliner in Flipside used on the waterline

I hope you enjoyed these. I must say working on people with different crease sizes is difficult. I hope to get better at it. :D

WARNING: Gore Ahead

The dark is thick around you as you walk in the city. Every alley way looks menacing, every person a mugger. You try to shuffle your way to the subway. You know it's some where around here, it's not like you haven't walked this way before. You take this way home every day. It just looks a little different at night. You pull your coat tighter around yourself, as though it can protect you for something else other than the cold. A vent on the sidewalk hisses out steam, obscuring the view of what you thought might be the subway entrance. You try to walk through the steam but it's so thick you can barely see in front of you. The hot air causes you to blink, you squint seeing something in the distance.
It's a person with their back turned to you. It's not odd to see another human in a densely packed city you remind yourself. Than again you haven't seen anyone for several blocks. You realize it's a woman with something dripping from her hands. Your fight or flight reflexes tell you it's blood, your mind tells you she could be hurt. You call out to her she moans back you and turns to look at you.
There is something wrong with her face.
A long gash extends from her mouth to her cheek. It's thick and bloody with raw pieces of flesh hanging off. You recoil in horror. Stumbling over your clumsy feet you fall to the side walk. She runs to you, faster than you expected. You notice something else, there is blood all down her clothes, on her hands and her eyes... her eyes are dead. You try to scream but her mouth is already around your throat.

Dun.Dun. Duuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuun. :3

Oh hey what did I use?
Liquid Latex (Smells like vagina. If you are a very sensitive to scents don't get this. They have a non latex like product made for a reason.)
Toilet Paper (Keeping it classy.)
Coyt Beauty powder (To set.)
Ben Nye Burn and Wound Wheel (To add depth and awesomeness to it.)
Fake Blood

Yup. That's all it took. Excuse me I has the internets to run. (Runs off to bed for sleep.)

Zhann?

Oh god this was a lot harder than just slapping on some blue face paint. Sadly I didn't look at a reference photo so I missed a lot of details. In my own defense I am dumb and I didn't have any fishnet stockings to make the markings on my face that are similar to hers. This isn't the worst make-up I've done but it certainly isn't the best. Hopefully the fiance will let me turn him into the male version of Zhann since he has icy blue eyes like her.

What I used:
Too Faced eyeshadow Insurance (Spread all over the face.)
Cheap Blue Grease Paint (All around face but not on the eyes.)
High Voltage eyeshadow in Frost Bite (All around the eye and lid.)
High Voltage eyeshadow in Wild Night (To deepen the crease)
Fyrinnae eyeshadow Futuristic Glamrock (Mixed with face powder to put all over face.)
Sleek Palette (Matte navy blue used to contour the face.)
Cheap Yellow Grease Paint (Used on the cheek and forehead to try and make a pattern.)
Urban Decay Heavy Metal Glitter (used to define the "spots")
Evil Shades lipstick in Fiendish/Nyx Lipstick in Deep red

Phew! *wipes brow* What a work out. Ok kiddies I made a facebook like page, please like if you well... like. :D
