I came downstairs to here my brother and his best friend playing Portal 2. Now, I don't play video games much. I'm a watcher of video games but I LOVE Portal. I'm currently listening to the new Lady Gaga cd. I am IN LOVE with Highway Unicorn and Bloody Mary. Edge of Glory makes me tear up a bit... I'm a sap ok? I cry at everything. (Including touching moments in Star Trek Next Generation that have something to do with Data's lack of humanity or Worf... or everything. I cry at least twice with every season.)

*I was given the eyeshadow samples for free but that in now way effects my opinion of the products.

It's very cold and rainy right now. I need a dab of sunshine right now and guzzling orange juice just isn't enough. This warm, tropical flower like look came to mind when I was digging through my eyeshadow drawer. I love the nyx liquid eyeliner I used but for some reason the pictures don't show how truly bright of a blue it is. :(

Saint Patrick Days and Forgotten Grey/Blue-Two fotd

Oh boy what an eventful two days.

My poor brother Josef swallowed a nail yesterday while he was fixing the door for my other brother Nicholas. Nicholas came in to yell at Josef for making so much noise and Josef turned to yell back, swallowing the nail in his rage. My Dad rushed him to the E.R. where the did a whole bunch of x-rays. Then they poked him full of holes (his veins are very deep.) to give him an I.V. My brother thankfully has a high pain tolerance like my Mom. He is also blessed with the ability to heal quickly but with the nail in his stomach the doctors doubted he'd heal from a nail scrap on the inside.

The doctors sedated him and then stuck a scope down his throat. They didn't grab it the first time but this morning they tried again and grabbed it! I was so thankful to hear my brother was ok. We were all pretty scared.

Sorry I didn't get any good full face shots of either look. :( I wasn't really wearing any exciting lip colors or blushes so you aren't missing much. I'm having a blah day. It's raining outside but later on tonight we're suppose to get eight inches of snow. EIGHT INCHES! Living in Ohio is like having a Bi-polar parent. Yesterday I lightened the fiance's hair to almost white. It's weird seeing him without the blue! I also re-bleached the back of Cassie's hair and put blue in. It needs more blue but we'll put more in tonight. I lightened a small strip of hair behind front section of my " bangs." It didn't lighten more then a few levels and I want it to be lighter so I'm going to bleach it soon. Then I'm adding purple and pink it it! Yeee!!!! Wish me luck!

Take Me Home You Sexpot!-fotd

Ah yes the typical Valentine's Day date look. Something sweet and soft that still screams "YEAH BABY YEAH!" Like some horrible English stereotype from the 60's. I like V-day personally because I believe in one true loves, romantic soul connections, etc. I realize that most people consider it a Hallmark holiday but it certainly does feel nice to get a present on a random day. (Besides my birthday and X-mas that is.) My fiance however isn't that romantic. He likes doing surprising me with small things like maybe a nice dinner on occasions but when a holiday like this comes around he drags his feet. Thus leaving me to do much of the romancing. I don't mind this because I like giving him flowers or taking him out. He does so many nice things for me why not pay him back?

Julia and I agree that She's got the look is one of the most perfect "natural/pink" lip colors out there. We both love how long it lasts and how you only need a little bit to get good coverage.

Find Me In the Snow-fotd

I wore this on Tuesday actually! I just haven't found the time to type. We had two days off from school because of the nasty storm that made the roads and sidewalks impossible to walk on. Before the storm hit Monday night I made a huge decision to change my life. I decided to go Vegetarian. Before you insight a riot(I say this because my veg friends keep fighting with my none veg friends...on facebook...*sigh*) let me explain the reasons why I went veg. Because meat makes me ill. I've had to many bad burgers, chicken wings, and even healthy meats turn on my stomach. I just can't take getting sick from eating it. I may go back so day but right now I made this choice.
So far it's been ok. I do feel a little bit nervous about going home this weekend. I tried going veg when I was in my early teens and my parents HATED the idea. I'm not sure if they'll like me asking them to bring home Bocca burgers. The funny thing is I know my parents will support me I just get nervous. >.< If you have any advice you'd like to give me I'd really love to hear it. Even if you aren't a vegetarian

Hauling A$$

I don't usually post haul's because they are far and few between for me. I don't have a job and begging my fiance for make-up seems silly. (Since a I am fully capable of getting a job.) The Fyrinnae stuff however is what my fiance got me for Christmas. I know it's late but we didn't buy anything for each other till after the holidays because of low cash flow. I have to get him a second present as well cause all I got him was a Pikachu plushie and he got me all this Fyrinnae.

The Sobe Botanicals stuff was actually sent by the lovely owner Lex. I had sent her an e-mail because I messed up my moisturizer. Despite the fact that it was my fault the moisturizer was ruined she sent me a refill of it and several shadows. The shadows are beautiful! I can't wait to use them. I will have swatches of all the shadows I got soon. :D

While at Ohyocon I bought my first pair of cyber falls or cyber dreads or cyber locks, whatever you want to call them. I really love how the go with the red in my hair. :3 I freaking LOVE THEM. So I will most likely be doing a cyber goth look soon. ;3 Do you guys want to see some pics from the con? (p.s. those awesome goggles are not mine. D:)

Transplant Blue-fotd

Between my History of the English Language homework and waking up late enough to make it on time to class I haven't had much make-up time. If I do have a small amount of time in the mornings I usually just brush on some eyeliner and mascara. I don't really feel the need to use foundation on my face since it looks ok bare. I wish I gave myself more time to do make-up. Today I was determined to put some on even if it was later on in the day. I put this look on at six. Mind you I haven't left my room because I'm in the middle of writing my journal for the History of the English Language class.
I was really hoping for the colors to pop but because my Pixie epoxy is on it's last leg their isn't much that gets on the wand any more. I made a large Fyrinnae order recently so my Pixie epoxy will be replenished soon! WOOT!! I also bought some Wet N Wild stuff while I was out today. I only bought two things but I used both in the look. I must say I'm impressed with the brand. They used to be so... well crappy but now their really awesome. I love how pigmented their eyeshadows are and the lipsticks are great. I promise reviews once I get some free time. :D
