Excuse me, you said Natural?-Fotd
Yup, no bright colors today. I was running late but I still wanted to put make-up on so I quickly slapped this on. My friend LittleIsis (Who writes a political blog http://mysticgirl.wordpress.com/) asked for some basic inspiring looks that she could copy. This would look good on those with smaller eyes because there is no black to close up your eyes. When you rim your eyes with black it makes them look smaller. I usually like doing it because I think it adds a certain sexiness to the eye. Try lining your eyes with plum, gray or navy blue instead of gray. Those colors are dark enough to add depth to the look but not to dark to "close" your eyes. :D (Also try applying a white/peach colored liner on your waterline. INSTANT HUGE EYES.Or to be unique used a teal/bright purple on your waterline. It's fetching as fuck.) This is a look you can wear to job interviews or just a day on the town. I hope this helps girl :D

Love it! Thalia is so nice looking... I should get some more neutral NYXs methinks
ReplyDeleteWow!! You're one of the first makeup artist blogs I've seen.. But I think that's great! Especially since you're brown like ME! :)
ReplyDeletenatural lipsticks
I love adding metallic white on the waterline, or teal.
ReplyDeleteRobyn- Thalia is a good basic/safe color I think. I wear it all the time cause I never know what to wear lip wise. :D
ReplyDeletePhyrra- Tee hee I love doing that too. I wish some one sold a none metallic purple liner though. I think that'd be fierce as hell on the waterline.
Cute! The purple Liquiline Blast is non-metallic, btw.
ReplyDeleteThanks a million for this. I tried the waterline trick you mentioned and it made my eyes look a lot better. When I wear black eyeliner I try to only put it on the lash line, and I try not to smudge it. And since my eyes are close together I want to try using individual lashes on the lash line to also give them a more prominent appearance.
ReplyDeleteOkay, I was bored so I just spent about twenty minutes fooling around with make up. It's not so much that my eyes are small as they are close together. So I have to put dark eyeliner about one third of the way across my lash line from the top and and then a little bit past it. Then on bottom about half way across my lash line. Then I have to put some white or creamy colored shadow on the inside corners of my eyes and some dark on the outer corner. When I did that it looked perfect. If your eyes are close together your eye make up should look a little something like this.
