Imagine the grit that gets stuck under your nails. The kind you can't get out without running your teeth along the under side of your filthy finger. The grit then sticks in your teeth and you have a crunch that sticks with you as you eat through out the day. That's what Hel is like. They named the city as a joke. Zion was suppose to be heaven, a glowing city of lights. While Hel was for the damned souls that couldn't make it to heaven.

The cosmic joke was played well on my dark city. There are no neon lights here. The city is never graced by a ray of sunlight nor the warmth of nature. Nothing grows down here except phosphorescent mushrooms and lichen that lines the raw rock walls. There are buildings in the city, even sky scrapers. We call them earth touchers here. Once upon a time this moldering city sat above ground but now it's sunk so far below no one can even remember the names of the buildings.

The Neo-ites rarely come down from their glittering thrones unless they need something jacked. Jacking, in your terms, is hacking. A jacker will steal into your files, rip up the data they need and leave before you even notice your plasma block was breeched. Your head will be left churning as memories are erased, transactions are deleted or complete human links are severed from the main server. They can kill you digitally with one flick of a finger. Most of the Neo's who visit the Jacker's are business men. They're the government up there. They hold all the power now thanks to commercial capitalism.

I bet you're wondering how I know so much. Well humble reader I am one of these mystical Jacker's. I think you are imagining me to be one of your 21st century internet wizards. I assure you I have no neck beard nor do I play on 4chan discussing ponys in length with other grown men.

We are the Collective.

A group of jackers formed from the fallen elite. Most of us used to be Neo's but after the trials we were exiled here to pay for our crimes. Crimes the commercial government payed us to do. But that's why we're getting revenge.

I originally did a black lip with this but I ended up hating it. It was to much for a look that was based on an down trodden cyber city. I think I'm going to make this a trilogy of short stories. I have to start writing the next one but I find my inspiration is at it's peek in the early morning. Isn't that always the case? You can't sleep then you do something creative and everything is just fantastic haha.

Depression Awareness Month-The Make Up Heroes

October is not only Breast Cancer Awareness month (Please visit Team Pinkeye to donate and learn more.) but also Depression Awareness month. Depression awareness is very important to me because many important people in my life suffer from it. It's rather hard for me to type since I have lost two friends to suicide and nearly lost four others. Depression has shaped my life more then a disease should. My Mother suffered silently for years until my Grandmother's death drove her over the edge. She was in a deep depression for over a year until she finally got some help. She still has days where she can't get out of bed because the only thing she can do is sleep. But patience and understanding has helped my family move past the hurt.

The Make Up Heroes and I chose to do a look using green since depression is represented by a green ribbon. We hope that by doing this more and more people will become aware of depression. Depression isn't something to laugh at nor to be ignored. If you or someone you know might be suffering you should talk to them about it or seek some help. This could be the difference between life and death. The signs can be small, repeat bouts of sadness. The unwillingness to care about the things you used to love. They signs can be big to. Cutting, suicidal tendencies and substance abuse are some of the biggest symptoms. Depression does not necessarily mean you have had a difficult life or childhood. Sometimes depression shows up in the most unlikely of people including teens, new mothers and young people. Please do not hesitate to talk to someone about how you are feeling.

Romulans are DICKS -FOTD

If there is anything I learned from watching all seven seasons of Star Trek Next Generation it's that Romulans are huge dicks. In case your not a Trekkie Romulans are Vulcans who left the Vulcan empire to be guided by their emotions. Vulcans are very logical while Romulans are very passionate and cunning. There are some Romulans that want to rejoin with the Vulcans but their movements is often times squashed by the Romulan Empire. Romulans look very similar to Vulcans with pointed ears, pointed eyebrows and blunt cut bangs. Their uniforms are silver and black so I picked those colors to represent their race. I also used green to show their blood lines with Vulcans. (Green is the color of their copper based blood.)

Ah! I should have added the blue on the lower lash line to make it look more authentic. (Her costume is pink,yellow and blue.) Jubilee has the ability to create firecrackers or mini explosions in her hands. She can throw them to distract people or she can blow crap up with the little balls of energy. She was Wolverine's sidekick in the 90's, her Peter Pan like attitude worked well with his grumpy worldly personality. She grew to think of him as a father since her own Father and Mother were murdered by assassins. Her parents were Chinese immigrants who came to America to escape said assassins. Later on there is a whole bunch of business about her becoming a vampire and blah blah.

Sorry the blurbs don't contain all the story lines the character has been through. Marvel retcons story lines so much a person can't always keep them straight.

I wore this yesterday but I didn't do anything worth blogging about. Today however I was able to get out of the house! I hung out with a close friend of mine whose boyfriend works at a mall on the nicer side of Cleveland. We hung around annoying him at work until I dragged her into Sephora for a few minutes while he was with a costumer. I swatched a dozen things but the products that stood out to me the most were the Make-up Forever Aqua Liners. My favorites are 8, the electric purple, and 5 which looks like a teal to me. Holy crap you guys. Holy crap. I washed my hands several times today as well as went swimming. They have just begun to wear off after seven hours of abuse. I NEED the purple. Like NEED. *foams at the mouth*

Hmm I think I'm going to do a review on Persephone Minerals next. I only have a few of the shadows but I've fallen in love with them.

Hopefully soon my BFF will give into letting me do her make-up. I drew up a face chart for her after a long discussion. We're both getting back into our gothy roots so I kind of want to do her up like the bad ass she is. Sadly she's lazy when it comes to removing make-up and whines at me when I do heavy make-up on her. I can't blame her, sometimes it takes a lot to remove some of my more dramatic looks.

Technicolor Dream World-Fotd

So I read this article on yahoo where a girl had her boyfriend pick her clothes out for a week. It seemed like a great idea actually. So I asked my fiance,Shaun, to pick out three colors for me to wear the next day. He picked out an eyeshadow he called a TARDIS blue, a bright green and a beautiful red. I was a little frightened at first since I didn't know how the heck I was going to wear it. I decided to try a cut crease since I hadn't done one in a while. I love the way it turned out! I kind of wish that I had left the lid all one color and used the blue to "cut the crease." I think I blended pretty badly on the lid. I'm going to ask him to do this every so often cause this was defiantly fun.

I love Criminal Minds. It's become one of my favorite shows thanks to the tech goddess Penelope Garcia. Seriously this girl is awesome. She's smart, classy and dresses really cute. Her make-up is always impeccable I could go on fawning about her forever. She's the reason I dyed my hair red with a pink streak. Whilst watching it yesterday night I noticed she had very shimmery/glittery green lid color with a purple lower lash line. I'm pretty sure she was wearing m.a.c.'s candy yum yum lipstick which looked really cute with her bright pink cheeks.

Bitter Frost-fotd

I haven't worn blue in a while which surprises me since I love blue. I used to hate it when I was younger. The only blue eyeshadow I could find were the frosty baby blue that girls would apply all the way up to the brow bone. One of my Mom's friends would wear this look daily with thick black eyeliner and spidery lashes. It wasn't till I started getting into beauty blogging that I grew to love blue eyeshadow. What's your opinion on blue eyeshadow? Do you love it or hate it?

When I got home on Thursday I found a small package waiting for me. My Father had apparently opened it for me thinking it was my new hard drive. I pulled out the small golden bag to stare at the pretty eyeshadows I had bought. I'm on a no buy until I find a job so this was a small indulgence. I had been wanting to try Persephone minerals since Grey, Phyrra and Mika-chan had done swatches/reviews.

I'm sorry I don't have any pictures of the sample bags. Those are to be saved for a sunny day. :D I'm really in love with these shadows. I can't wait to use them more!
