Baby Bat Goes Off the Deep End-FOTD and OOTD (June 4, 2013)
In the past my curvy frame has kept me from exploring fashion but now that the world of plus size fashion has expanded so has my closet. This shirt is one of my favorites, flowy and goth-esque, I feel tough yet cute when I wear it. It looks perfect with a pair of skinny jeans but even better with a bandage skirt. The weather was really hot last week but this week it's turned to a cool sixty degrees, thus the tights. I usually wear a subtler eye when I wear such a heavy print though polymorph by femme fatale was just calling to me.
What I wore:
Top and cami: Dots
Skirt, tights, second earrings and ring: Forever 21
Boots and angel earrings: Target
Eyes-
Wet n Wild Primer
Maybelline Color Tattoo Barely Biege and Blue Paradise
Femme Fatale cosmetics eyeshadow in Polymorph (Patted on zee lid.)
Urban Decay eyeshadow in Deep End(Placed into the crease with a small brush then blended with a fluffy one.)
Urban Decay eyeshadow in Sellout (Used to highlight all over.)
Physicians Formula Eyeliner pen
Nyx glide on pencil in White
Mascara
Lips-
Etude Lipstick in Idk but this lippie is awesome God I wish I knew the shade
Please excuse my terrible posing! I'm sure I look like a sullen teen whose camera turned on by it's self, I am totally not a model.

Loki'd-Experiment
*I did edit this pictures a bit and by edit I mean I made them a tad brighter
Have you seen The Avengers yet? I haven't! I loved Captain America, Thor, Iron Man and even one of the Hulk movies that no one seems to like. My favorite bad guy out of all the movies is Loki, not only is he adorable in an evil yet vulnerable kind of way but he's also all sorts of bad ass. I'm really excited that he's the bad guy in The Avengers I can't wait to see it. In the mean time I did a Loki inspired look. I wish I had used some Lady Loki inspo, in the comics Loki can turn from a man to a woman. A really really hot woman by the way.
In Nordic mythology Loki is the God of mischief. He's been known to cause trouble where ever he goes. He's killed a few ice giants and gods in his time and even mated with a horse. He's known to have a silver tongue able to talk anyone into anything. He's charming but damn is he tricky. What I used:
Eyes-
TFSI
Fyrinnae Pixie Epoxy (Just a tad bit on the lid.)
Darling Girl e/s in Grasshopper (Matte-ish grass green used on the inner corner of the lid.)
Femme Fatale cosmetics e/s in Poison (Perfect chartreuse patted in the middle of the lid between the green and yellow to blend it better.)
Fyrinnae e/s in Bifrost (Bright yellow patted at the outer corner of the lid and blended into poison. The bifrost is the name of the bridge the gods use to cross worlds in Norse mythology. I had to use this!)
Sleek Bohemian palette (Matte navy blue used to create a cut crease that starts at the very edge of the lid.)
Femme Fatale cosmetics e/s in Riptide (Electric blue applied over the navy for added sparkle!)
Sleek Bohemian palette (Matte ivory used on the brow bone and used to blend out the crease.)
NYC liquid eyeliner in black
Urban Decay 24/7 eyeshadow pencil in Clash (Used on the waterline.)
Sugarpill e/s in Afterparty (A bright bright blue patted on the waterline over Clash.)
Tarte Lights! Camera! Lashes!
lips-
Rimmel lipstick in Kate 04
Max Factor random purple lipstick of awesome
Alrightie quick question, which camera do you prefer? The Rebel which I used in this post or the Nikon I used to use. The Rebel has better depth, is true color wise but is a pain in the butt to use for close up shots of the eye. My little Nikon is perfect for close up shots but doesn't always show the depth certain eyeshadows have. Which camera would you guys like to see me use?

Greed is good, Greed is Green-fotd

Wah! Don't you hate it when your colors all blend together in photographs? I swear this was prettier in person. So, lately I've been watching a lot of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, this is a good thing since I am now on Spring break and have nothing to do for a while. I forgot how much I loved this show! I had stopped watching it mid-way through season two because I hate character deaths. Incase you didn't know Joss Whedon likes to kill off his characters, a lot. (And I am a sensitive person who cries when fictional characters die.)
What I used:
Eyes-
TFSI
Darling Girl Glitter Glue
Fyrinnae e/s in Aztec Gold (Green-gold shadow patted on the lid.)
Detrivore e/s in Greed (Shimmery yellow gold used in the crease.)
Femme Fatale cosmetics e/s in Poison (A bright chartreuse patted on the inner corner of the lid.)
Urban Decay 24/7 eyeliner in Mildew (Run along the lower lash line.)
Wet n Wild palette in Comfort Zone (Shimmery cream used to highlight.)
Random black eyeliner
NYC Liquid eyeliner in black
Mascara
lips-
Wet n Wild lipstick in Taj-mauve-hal
Weeee!!!! This week I'm going to Kent to visit Cassie. It's going to be so much fun even though I have to study and write a paper. Such fun! Such fun!

Peach Parfait-fotd
It has been a wonderful few weeks thanks to winter break. Sadly it's about to end in a week which means back to the daily grind. I still have to reschedule my classes and get my license which will be stressful. I'm hoping to get a job soon too, but that doesn't mean I won't be blogging. I love make-up, so I hope I get a job doing it but it's more likely it will be in retail. Hey, this means I'll have money to actually buy giveaway prizes.
I hope you guys don't mind me talking about my boring life haha.
What I used:
Eyes-
TFSI
Fyrinnae Pixie Epoxy
Femme Fatale cosmetics e/s in Archangel (Shimmery ivory with purple duo chrome used on the inner corner of the lid from the crease to the brow bone.)
Femme Fatale cosmetics e/s in Ignite (A medium orange/peach placed on the lid and blended gently upwards.)
Femme Fatale cosmetics e/s in Shooting Star (Light purple blended onto the crease and on the lower lid.)
Urban Decay 24/7 eyeliner in Randsom (Purple used on the lower lash line.)
Urban Decay 24/7 eyeliner in Perversion
Almay liquid eyeliner in black
Tarte Lights! Camera! Lashes!
lips-
Milani lipstick in Mango Mamba (Orange red rubbed lightly onto the lips.)
Nyx Round Lipstick in Echoe (Creamy beige used on the center of the lip and blended by rubbing my lips together to create a creamy-peach color.)
I haven't worn peach in a while, nor have I done a blended out crease in a while. I love well blended creases especially on other people but or some reason I never do them on myself. The swatches I've been promising will be up tomorrow, horray! I have to do a Darling Girl swatch set next since I love Darling Girl so much. I can't wait till DG opens I'd really like to get Glitter Glue. Mai of Portrait of Mai sent me some of her Glitter Glue after I talked about needing a different base for my Diamond Dust eyeshadows. I wore it the other day with DG's Woodsprite, there was no creasing and it worked with matte shadow I used in the crease. Yay! I'll write a more in-depth review soon. Thanks for the read!

How Many Looks Can You Call Sugar Plum Fairy?-fotd
Yay another purple look! I can't help it, I've been in a very purple type of mood these past few days. I was hoping to use a lighter, softer pink but I apparently don't own a that color! I expressed this concern to my fiance and he gave me a withering look then said "No. No more make-up." B-but I wasn't even going to buy any I swear!
What I Used:
Eyes-
TFSI
Sugarpill e/s in Poison Plum (Red based purple blended into the inner crease.)
Fyrinnae Pixie Epoxy
Aromaleigh e/s in Olinda (A warm pink used on the lid and used to blend the purple in on the lower lash line.)

lips-
Morgana Cryptoria Lipstick in Roses and Violets
I wore this yesterday out to the mall and I was given several compliments. Today I'm wearing a quick gold look that's kind of unimpressive. I wish I could wear purple eyeshadow every day. I have enough purples to do it haha. What's your favorite eyeshadow color to wear?

Hidden Presents and Bronys-fotd
Wednesday was my birthday, I turned twenty four which is surprising to me. In many ways I feel a lot younger then I actually am. I used to be told I very mature for my age when I was a child because I had a lot of responsibilities. Now adults raise their eyebrows and shake their head at me since I keep hopping majors. I still have no idea what I want to be when I grow up, sadly magical fairy princess is out of the running since that job was taken off the market years ago. I hope this year will give me some clarity into who I am and what I'm doing with my life. Now that the some what "deep" portion of the blog is over lets talk about vanity! Whoo!
What I used:
Eyes-
TFSI
Fyrinnae Pixie Epoxy
I.+T.A. e/s in Hidden Present (An army green with pink sparkles used all over the lid.)
Femme Fatale cosmetics e/s Misdirection (Black based emerald green that rubs down copper used in the crease.)
Darling Girl cosmetics e/s in Pretty Plasma (A clear teal used on the lower lash line.)
Standard highlighter
Almay liquid eyeliner in black
Tarte gel eyeliner in black (Along the waterline.)
Tarte Lights! Camera! Lashes
lips-
Morgana Cryptoria lipstick in Roses and Violets
Too Faced Glamour 2 Go Dream edition lip gloss (Bright sheer pink with blue duo-chrome.)
My parents bought me a My Little Pony castle for my birthday...I told you I'm immature. I was pretty pleased since my friends and I are collecting My Little Pony's. We all had kinda tough childhoods so we're reliving it through toys. It's therapy without having to pay someone, we bitch and moan whilst making Flutter Shy and Rainbow Dash gallop around. Yes we're all college students and in our twenties but you know what, go play with your old toys and see how much fun it is. Especially now that your play stories can be really complex. My brother who is twenty one wants there to be boy ponies so he can play. I'm turned him into a brony!
Do you still play with toys or do something that you know is a bit immature for you to do? And if you haven't what's stopping you? Age is just a number!

The Vixen Next Door-fotd
The new challenge in the facebook group Never Too Much Sparkle this week was Old Hollywood. Instead of going for the sexy pin-up style look with red lips I wanted to do something different. I watched Gone With the Wind recently and Scarlett O'Hara's pink glossy lips were so inviting I knew I had to copy the look. Though my eyeshadow is more intense then Scarlett's haha.
What I used:
Eyes-
TSFI
Fyrinnae Pixie Epoxy
Darling Girl cosmetics e/s in Witch and Famous (Sandy sweet taupe patted on the lid.)
Femme Fatale cosmetics e/s in Smokebomb (Black based copper used on the crease.)
Wet n Wild e/s palette in Vanity (Shimmery brown used to blend out the smokebomb also used along the lower lash line.)
Femme Fatale cosmetics e/s in Archangel (Yellow toned ivory with duo-chrome purple used to highlight the brow bone and inner corner of the lid.)
NYC liquid eyeliner in black
Wet n Wild liquid eyeliner pen in black
Wet n Wild cream eyeliner in black
Tarte Lights! Camera! Lashes!
lips-
Tarte lipsurge in Enchanted
I'm still writing those papers, oof, I hate writing essays. I'm a terrible ex- English student. One is two pages long while the other one is six. Now if you'll excuse me I have to go and put on my writing boots. Bye!

Janeway's Fire-fotd
If you read my twitter you'd know that my fiance and I are currently watching Star Trek Voyager. Voyager has to be one of my favorite Star Trek's, it was actually the first Star Trek I had ever watched. I caught many a episode on Spike when they were showing reruns. Though I had never watched the series completely I did enjoy the smattering of episodes I watched.
I am completely in love with Captain Kathryn Janeway. Not only is she as smart as a whip but she is compassionate. Even though she and her crew are stuck in the far off Delta quadrant she still shows immense grace and poise under pressure. I just...I just freaking love her character okay? This look is based off of Janeway's drive and firey passion for her crew. I even used a similar color to her trade mark neutral red lipstick. (It goes with her Starfleet uniform!) I mean come on, how many other Starfleet Captains can say they turned a Borg into a member of their crew? Not even Picard could do that.
What I used:
Eyes-
TFSI
Fyrinnae Pixie Epoxy
Darling Girl cosmetics e/s in Scream Queen (Scarlett Starfleet uniform red used on the eye.)
Fyrinnae e/s Pyromantic Erotica (Orange with green shift used along the inner crease.)
Femme Fatale cosmetics e/s Ignite (Burnt orange applied to the crease and lower lashline.)
Black Rose Minerals e/s in Skink (Shimmery ivory applied to the browbone.)
Innocent + Twisted Alchemy e/s in Tragic Chord (GORGEOUS gold applied on the inner corner of the eye. It's super sparkly and lovely.)
Liquid eyeliner
Wet n Wild gel eyeliner in black
Tarte Lights! Camera! Lashes!
lips-
Estee Lauder lipstick in Fig (Perfect neutral red.)
Voyager is on Netflixs right now. You can watch the whole series from start to finish without breaking any laws. Did you guys hear they are remastering Next Gen? It's coming out on blue ray soonish! That means you get to watch Wil Wheaton and his many colored sweaters in HD! Whooo!
Incase you didn't notice by the pictures my camera is back! I'm so happy, I missed it so much. Now I can do close up shots of my make-up again which with my Mother's camera looked pretty crappy. Now if you'll excuse me I have two papers I need to write, off to study-study land I go!

Lyra's Compass-fotd
For my Fantasy Fiction class we had to read The Golden Compass which surprisingly I've never read. As a child I read constantly, I would even read in class, hiding my books between text book pages. The Golden Compass is about a young girl Lyra and her daemon Pan who live in Jordan college who is not your average childhood book character. She's described as being half wild and a great liar. A daemon is a person's soul outside of their body that takes the form of an animals. Her adventure starts when she saves her Uncle from a poisoned bottle of wine while the children of the town begin to disappear including her best friend Roger. The book is well written as well as intensely engaging. When I have children my girl's are going to read this book instead of Twilight. Strong female character who travel all the way to the arctic while battling child nappers and learning about Dust? Way better then simpering, sullen teens who can't figure out which supernatural boyfriend to pick. (Uhm...I don't like Twilight very much sorry.) This look is based on her golden compass or alethiometer, it's a symbol reader that can tell you the future. Being able to read it is one of Lyra's many talents. I chose the blue in the crease to represent her journey North to rescue her Uncle and friend's from the Gobblers. Go read this book, I'm serious. You'll love it.
What I used:
Eyes-
TFSI
Estee Lauder Eyeshadow stick in Gold (Used just on the lid.)
Sugarpill e/s in Afterparty (A bright blue with a turquoise undertone used in a c shape in the crease and then blended upwards. The unblended lower crease being the strongest in color.)
Randow matte ivory e/s (Highlight applied to brow bone and blended downward into Afterparty.)
Femme Fatale cosmetics e/s Riptide (A true blue with shimmery sky blue sparkles blended into Afterparty to add shimmer and a bluer pigment.)
Fyrinnae pixie epoxy (Just on the lid, over the shadow stick.)
Fyrinnae e/s in Book of the Dead (A neutral gold patted on the lid.)
Wet n Wild shimmery ivory e/s (Used on the brow bone and inner corner of the lid.)
Random liner
Tarte Lights! Camera! Lashes!
Nyx Lip gloss in French Kiss (A cool, almost nude toned pink.)
I really like this look, I'm sort proud of the blending too. Oh! I almost forgot! You guys always ask how I get my crease wing so crisp and clean well cheat. I use a damp q-tip to straighten out the wing as well as correct any errors. I should probably put up a video to show how I do my eye make-up but I'm a little nervous about tutorials. Now I'm off to go write some papers for this class and study for German. Whooo!

Feast For the Eyes- 3 fotds
You may have noticed that second look is not of me. That's of my best friend Heather! I've been begging her for YEARS to let me put make-up on her gorgeous face but she never lets me. Heather is not one of those girls who wears make-up, nor does she really need to. We've been best friends for sixteen years though we seem like opposites. Heather is really low key where I at least need a tad bit of mascara before leaving the house.
We met in first grade, I introduced myself while wearing a puffy pink dress thinking she needed to be fed. She thought I needed to be defended because the other girls made fun of me for wearing such a poofy dress. I shared my cosmic brownie with her as well as my sandwich. She's been fighting off the bullies ever since.Once we hit high school she started to wear closer fitting tops, our roles slightly reversed. Now I have to defend her form the hoards of dudes who like her.
I have no idea what I'd do without her.

I've been favoring the blended in crease as of late. It's very different from my usual hard lined crease colors. I actually like the blended out look a lot. I do it on other people so why not do it on myself for a change. I hope your Thanksgiving was lovely! I also hoped you did not get trampled by the crazy people out on Black Friday. I went to Wal-mart at ten at night, that was a terrible idea. I was groped, rammed and pushed by several different people. Please be safe when you shop!
