Hidden Presents and Bronys-fotd

Wednesday was my birthday, I turned twenty four which is surprising to me. In many ways I feel a lot younger then I actually am. I used to be told I very mature for my age when I was a child because I had a lot of responsibilities. Now adults raise their eyebrows and shake their head at me since I keep hopping majors. I still have no idea what I want to be when I grow up, sadly magical fairy princess is out of the running since that job was taken off the market years ago. I hope this year will give me some clarity into who I am and what I'm doing with my life. Now that the some what "deep" portion of the blog is over lets talk about vanity! Whoo!

What I used:

Eyes-
TFSI
Fyrinnae Pixie Epoxy
I.+T.A. e/s in Hidden Present (An army green with pink sparkles used all over the lid.)
Femme Fatale cosmetics e/s Misdirection (Black based emerald green that rubs down copper used in the crease.)
Darling Girl cosmetics e/s in Pretty Plasma (A clear teal used on the lower lash line.)
Standard highlighter
Almay liquid eyeliner in black
Tarte gel eyeliner in black (Along the waterline.)
Tarte Lights! Camera! Lashes

lips-
Morgana Cryptoria lipstick in Roses and Violets
Too Faced Glamour 2 Go Dream edition lip gloss (Bright sheer pink with blue duo-chrome.)

My parents bought me a My Little Pony castle for my birthday...I told you I'm immature. I was pretty pleased since my friends and I are collecting My Little Pony's. We all had kinda tough childhoods so we're reliving it through toys. It's therapy without having to pay someone, we bitch and moan whilst making Flutter Shy and Rainbow Dash gallop around. Yes we're all college students and in our twenties but you know what, go play with your old toys and see how much fun it is. Especially now that your play stories can be really complex. My brother who is twenty one wants there to be boy ponies so he can play. I'm turned him into a brony!
Do you still play with toys or do something that you know is a bit immature for you to do? And if you haven't what's stopping you? Age is just a number!

  1. Love the makeup , it's so darn pretty with your lovely brown eyes and yes, at age 42 I still love to play... whether it is hopping trough autumn leaves, snowballfights, drawing flowers, reading children's books, acting like a total idiot, it doesn't matter to me. And it sure beats therapy! Growing old is inevitable, growing up is optional, that's my motto xxx

  2. I'm 31 and play all the time. ;) My Little Pony is one of those things a lot of older 20-30 something people love. A bunch of my friends really, really dig the show.

I love the look: especially the blue underneath :)

  3. This is one sexy look! Love that green on the lid! And I don't play with too many toys really. I do have this weird obsession with Bigfoot and we play around with some goofy Bigfoot stuff!

  5. OMG, I love My Little Ponies, and Poniesp-as-therapy sounds UTTERLY BRILLIANT and UTTERLY FUN! I will definitely be trying that. (I wonder who else around here is silly enough to play with me....may have to have a Skype playdate for our ponies, once I get some, 'kay?)

And oh, Helen! That blending on your lid is divine!!!! Ugh, I am swooning. AND HAPPY, HAPPY (BELATED) BIRTHDAY!!! Also, if Goddess Leonie can make a living being a Goddess, I say you can TOTALLY make Fairy Princess your career. Make it happen! You would be fantastic!

  6. This look is so dramatic, I love it! Happy belated birthday! I get the odd raised eyebrow at my goth clubbing and dressing up habits at my age (I am a bit older than you) but I don't do it in the daytime anymore. I just think one should do what makes one happy, our society gets too obsessed about age sometimes.

  7. haha I turn 24 next month and I truly do not feel my age. There are so many of my friends that have already graduated college and are in their careers. We'll get there soon!! And I played with Bratz all the way into my Junior yr of HS haha. Such a pretty look =)
