Long Hair Don't Care-fotd (May 25,2013)

So I've been growing my hair out for two years now and it's down to below my bust. My hair has never  been this long ever. I've always had short hair even when I was a kid. So now I'm left with all this hair and no idea what to do with it. I was considering cutting it all off again but I'be grown to like it.

What I used:

Eyes-
Wet n Wild primer
Maybelline Color Tattoo in Barely There Biege (Or something like that I don't know.)
Detrivore Eyeshadow in Vulture (Gradually built up in the crease. I love this shade!)
Fyrinnae Eyeshadow in Tapir (Patted on the lid using a damp brush to intensify the shade.)
Too Faced Eyeshadow in Coco Puffs (Used on the lower lash line to meet the upper wing.)
Wet n Wild random black and ivory Eyeshadows (The black is used at the very corner of the lower lash line to meet the upper wing while the ivory is used to highlight.)
Physicians Formula Eyeliner of awesome
Nyx glide on pencil in black
Mascara

lips-
Estee Lauder Pure Color High Gloss in Coral Chic

Hey I hope you guys have a good day!

Woodland Spirit Dressed in Lavender- FOTD (May 23, 2013)

What? Two posts back to back? Crazy talk! I know right? It's like I'm regularly posting again or something. I decided to try an odd color combo of brown and purple. I really liked how it turned out. I've got to use my Darling Girl eyeshadows more, it's my favorite indie brand honestly. Ladies and gents who is your favorite make-up brand? Any new brands you've recently discovered? I'd love to hear what you have to say!

What I used:

Eyes-
Wet n Wild primer
Maybelline Color Tattoo in Barely There Biege (Just along the crease and brow bone.)
Maybelline Color Tattoo in Cool Crush (Blended haphazardly along the lid.)
Darling Girl cosmetics Diamond Dust in Woodland Sprite (Plummy brown blended into the crease. Despite the not very sticky base the shimmer was still very noticeable.)
Concrete Minerals eyeshadow in Wicked (Favorite eyeshadow by Concrete minerals, patted on the lid with a damp brush.)
Wet n Wild random ivory shadow to highlight
Physicians Formula Magical liquid eyeliner pen of awesome
Nyx Glide on eyeliner in white
Mascara

lips-
Estee Lauder lipstick in Rose Tea
Maybelline Color Whisper Lip thingie in Cherry on Top

I just "Blue" Myself- Experiment (May 22, 2013)

I haven't seen many episodes of Arrested Development sadly, just enough to know it's hilarious. Since a new season has come out thanks to Netflixs I may consider watching it. I'm a Netflix junkie, I watch so much stuff on there I barely touch my tv any more. How can I resist a site that has Parks and Recs, Supernatural, Law and Order: SVU and Hemlock Grove? (P.s. if you haven't watch Hemlock Grove you need to. It's fantastic and the special effects make-up is baller.) Any hoodles I was bored whilst watching an episode of Supernatural so this is what I can up with.

What I used:

Eyes-
Wet n Wild primer
Maybelline Color Tattoo in Cool Crush
Sugarpill eyeshadow in Mochi (Applied to just the lid in a rounded shape.)
Sugarpill eyeshadow in Velocity (Applied on the outer part of the lid in a triangle shape and down along the lower lash line.)
Sugarpill eyeshadow in Tako (Brushed lightly onto the brow bone and inner corner of the lid.)
Sugarpill eyeshadow in Afterparty (Used in the crease and lower lash line to blend out Velocity.)
Wet n Wild matte black eyeshadow (Swept along the lower lash line and blended up to meet the liner wing.)
Estee Lauder random metallic light pink eyeshadow (Used to highlight all the things.)
Physicians Formula Liquid Eyeliner Pen
Mascara

lips-
Etude House lipstick in Idk but it's awesome

And that's it, that's the look. Have a good day ya'll.

Strawberry Blonde and purple tipped-fotd (5/9/2013)

My last finale is Friday so I treated myself to some new make-up.  This school year has been a roller coaster of ups and downs I'm so glad it's over. I bought myself one of the shadows from the new Spring L'oreal collection and a   I'm really digging this new L'oreal eyeshadow, it reminds me of the pink in Urban Decay's Glinda palette. It looks really pretty if you pair it with a nice chocolate brown in the crease if you are more of a neutral eyeshadow lover. If you have difficulty using the cream/powder weird blend of shadow I recommend wetting your brush a bit it helps to intensify the color without patchiness.

What I used:

Eyes-
Wet n Wild Fergie Collection Primer
Maybelline Color Tatto in Seashore Frost (Magical duochrome-y goodness used all over the eye.)
Milani Shadow Eyez shadow stick in Royal Purple (Swiped on the lid then blended with brush on the lid.)
L'oreal Infallible eyeshadow in Strawberry Blonde (Duo-chromey goodness of pink and lavender used on the inner half of the lid as well.)
Urban Decay eyeshadow in Fishnet (Blended onto half the lid and the outer v.)
Urban Decay eyeshadow in Sellout (Perfect ivory with a small amount of shimmer used as the brow highlight.)
Wet n Wild eyeshadow palette in Petal Pusher (Red violet shadow used in the crease, then light lavender shade blended over top with an added pop of the light shimmery pink to highlight the inner corner.)
L'oreal HIP Chrome eyeliner in violet (Used to line the upper and lower lid.)
Wet n Wild eyeshadow palette in Petal Pusher (Shimmery deep purple used over the liner to deepen the color.)
Physicians Formula eyeliner pen (Used to lightly liner upper lash line and add a simple wing.)
Mascara of course.

lips-
Nyx Round Lipstick in Circe
Wet n Wild lipstick in Taj-mauve-hal placed in the inner of the lips to add pinkness.)

I love this look it's so glowy and simple to do. I may have to treat myself again and buy more of the L'oreal shadows. I hope you all did well on your finals and if you are all ready graduated college then I envy you.
