Once was a Fail-Fairy-Fotd/BLIX Giveaway!

I only had one class today since my poetry class was canceled. I slept through my alarm but thankfully I didn't sleep through my class. Sleep can do very good or bad things to you. It made me extremely spacey. Whilst applying Morgana Cryptoria's eyeshadow in Zombie Ambrosia I forgot it was a satin/near matteish type shade. It went over my pixie epoxy very patchy and dull. I stared at my eyes for a few seconds before I figured out what the problem was. Derp.
In other very glittery none derp news Blix or Moon Maiden on her blog Glitter is my Crack is having a give away hosted by Morgana Crypotoria. The prizes are beautiful go check them out on my blog roll please!

What I used:

Eyes-
TFSI
Fyrinnae Pixie Epoxy
Morgana Cryptoria e/s in Zombie Ambrosia (Used on the lid.)
Fyrinnae Pixie Epoxy (Over the Zombie.)
Fyrinnae Digital Faerie ( Placed over the pixie epoxy on the lid.)
Fyrinnae Jaguar (In the crease gently blended.)
Nyx Jumbo Eyeshadow Pencil in Milk ( On the lower lash line.)
Morgana Cryptoria e/s in Zombie Ambrosia (Applied on the lower lash line.)
Sephora Liner Electro in Electro Marine
Nyc Liquid eyeliner in Black
Mascara

lips-
Nyx Round Lipstick in Tea Rose
Later on I applied Morgana Cryptoria Lipstick in Azalea Blue

I'm might going to the hookah bar tonight. I don't have much money right now though so I may stay home. It seems like a silly idea to waste money on something I can only do for so long before I get dizzy. *sighs* I need a job.

Slyphs, Nymphs, and Salamanders-Halloween Ideas

I was debating whether or not to put this up since it's not my best work. I decided to because Halloween is coming up and the girls asked me when I was putting their pictures on my blog. These are two of my friends on my floor. They're often subjected to my horror looks as well as my every day shenanigans. I'm pretty thankful they're my friends. Most of the time they'll find me holed up in my room looking like a kicked puppy. Instead of ignoring my pity party they'll pluck me from my room and force me to go the local Hookah bar with them or sit me down in the lounge to hang out. I pay them back by doing their make-up. They're not the type of girls to wear much color so I usually put a load of different ones on them.

What I used:

Me-(The Fire Faery or Salamander Look.)
TFSI
Fyrinnae Pixie Epoxy
120 Palette
-Red on the lid.
-Neon Orange in the crease
-Shimmery orange on the crease
-Yellow above the orange
-Pink as a highlighting shade
-Orange under the eye
-Red Lipliner on the water line
NYC Liquid eyeliner in black
Mascara
Red Lipsticks in Alarm by Rimmel

Lisa-(The Green Faery or Nymph Look.)
TFSI
NYX Jumbo Eyeshadow Pencil
120 Palette-
-Blue Based Soft Green on the lid
-Gold Green used on the lid over the second green
-Bright Grass Green on the outer and inner corner of the lid
-Metallic Green over everything to blend things out
-Soft Creamy yellow used in the crease
-Shimmery White used as a highlighting shade
NYC Liquid Eyeliner in Black
Nyx Lipstick in Peach lightly blotted
Soft Pink on the cheeks

Julia-(Slyph or Frost Faery)
TFSI
NYX Jumbo eyeshadow Pencil
Fyrinnae Pixie Epoxy
120 Palette-
-Bright purple used on the lid
-Bright blue used on the crease
-Shimmery White to highlight
-Shimmery Lilac used on the inner corner of the lid to blend inwards
NYC Liquid eyeliner in Black
Urban Decay 24/7 eyeliner in Flipside used on the waterline
Evil Shades Lipstick in Fiendish
(She's wearing a dark brown wig now but she dyed her hair this dark yesterday. It looks amazing.)

I hope you enjoyed these. I must say working on people with different crease sizes is difficult. I hope to get better at it. :D

Gore Whores: WARNING GROSS STUFF AHEAD

I was bored ok? Since I dropped my logic class my work load has diminished. I am starting a new Personal Finance Class this week but it's online. I've already finished two of the three assignments whilst I was doing this. I never realized how happy doing make-up makes me. I've been doing my friends make-up almost three times a week. Since I outed myself as an uncertified make-up artist the girls on the floor have been coming to me at every hour. I really enjoy it because I'm getting to try out different things on different eye shapes. What's especially funny to me is that when they ask for extreme make-up it's the make-up I wear every day. They always say to me "Oh my god it's so intense. I'd never wear this much eye make-up."

Burnt Girl:
I start of with a clean face, than I cover my brow. Liquid latex can rip off hair so please cover your brow before applying liquid latex.
A layer of liquid latex on my bare skin, then another. On the third layer I start applying the tissue paper. There are at least two layers of tissue paper plus liquid latex. I applied one layer of toilet paper on my eye, don't apply the liquid latex on your eye. The fumes around my eye were enough to make them water, I can only imagine how much worse it is actually on the eye. Paint accordingly with blacks, pinks and reds then Bob's your uncle. (Rip off gently if you want to use this again. Do not wash it off!)

One-Eyed Girl:
After ripping off the first application I cleaned off my face. (Well duh... there was crap all over it.) Happily cover your brows again so you don't rip off your eyebrow hairs. Apply one layer of liquid latex around your eye and add toilet paper over top. Apply a second layer of liquid latex, wait till it dries and use the Ben Nye Burn and Injury wheel for the nasty ripped out eye effect. Since this isn't extra crispy like the burnt girl you'll want to add some fake blood. I used some coagulated blood to add the effect. Bah I should I have used the blood on the actual eye. Bah. There is always next time. :3

What do you guys think? Do you have any advice to offer for improvement?

Autumn's Bride-Fotd

The days are getting cooler and shorter. Leaves swirl across the road like a rain storm. I love this time of year. It's so enchanting, so simply beautiful I wonder how people can walk or drive by without noticing. I cry some days because it's so beautiful. (I know I cry a lot.)
In other news I dyed my hair on Sunday and so did my fiance, shaun. We first dyed his hair on Friday it was a darker redder brown but he decided he hated it and did the Oops Color treatment to get the color out. It didn't end well. It turned his usually brown hair a light orange. He was so upset he went a head and dyed his hair blue using Manic Panic's Shocking Blue. Everyone was really amazing on twitter helping us and giving advice but in the end he did what he wanted. It turned out well if you can believe that his hair is now a dark teal with spots of green. While mine is a dark red that shines brightly in the sunlight. We look awesome. Hopefully he'll let me turn him into some sort of mer-creature or alien for Halloween since his hur is teal. He took pictures of it so I will put it on twitter for ya'll to see. :3

What I used:
TFSI
Fyrinnae Pixie Epoxy
120 Palette
-Soft Orang shimmer (Used on lid.)
-Matte Orange (Used on the inner eye corner.)
High Voltage Cosmetics e/s in Bloody Mary (Crease.)
High Voltage Cosmetics e/s in Rule Breaker (Over top the shimmery orange to add depth.)
Aromaleigh e/s in Velvet Dream (Outer corner of the crease.)
Aromaleigh e/s in Perpetual Motion (Lower lash line.)
NYC Liquid Eyeliner in black
Mascara

lips-
Estee Lauder Lipstick in Tea Rose
Estee Lauder Lipstick in Fig

Hair:
Revlon Auburn Brown (Dyed on Friday, it wasn't red enough.)
Manic Panic Pillarbox Red (On sunday I applied this with heavy hand on to my hair. Then I placed a plastic bag on my head and shaun wrapped my hair up in saran wrap. I waited three hours before rinsing out. I love it!!!)

I've gotten so many compliments on my hair today I feel so good right now. Ugh I'm so vain. :D

WARNING: Gore Ahead

The dark is thick around you as you walk in the city. Every alley way looks menacing, every person a mugger. You try to shuffle your way to the subway. You know it's some where around here, it's not like you haven't walked this way before. You take this way home every day. It just looks a little different at night. You pull your coat tighter around yourself, as though it can protect you for something else other than the cold. A vent on the sidewalk hisses out steam, obscuring the view of what you thought might be the subway entrance. You try to walk through the steam but it's so thick you can barely see in front of you. The hot air causes you to blink, you squint seeing something in the distance.
It's a person with their back turned to you. It's not odd to see another human in a densely packed city you remind yourself. Than again you haven't seen anyone for several blocks. You realize it's a woman with something dripping from her hands. Your fight or flight reflexes tell you it's blood, your mind tells you she could be hurt. You call out to her she moans back you and turns to look at you.
There is something wrong with her face.
A long gash extends from her mouth to her cheek. It's thick and bloody with raw pieces of flesh hanging off. You recoil in horror. Stumbling over your clumsy feet you fall to the side walk. She runs to you, faster than you expected. You notice something else, there is blood all down her clothes, on her hands and her eyes... her eyes are dead. You try to scream but her mouth is already around your throat.

Dun.Dun. Duuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuun. :3

Oh hey what did I use?
Liquid Latex (Smells like vagina. If you are a very sensitive to scents don't get this. They have a non latex like product made for a reason.)
Toilet Paper (Keeping it classy.)
Coyt Beauty powder (To set.)
Ben Nye Burn and Wound Wheel (To add depth and awesomeness to it.)
Fake Blood

Yup. That's all it took. Excuse me I has the internets to run. (Runs off to bed for sleep.)

Think Pink-Fotd

Mmm pink. I used to hate this color when I was younger. I was one of those girls that said to herself "No! No pink! I will skew the gender rules and pick blue as my favorite color." I avoided pink for some years until my goth stage. I realized that pink didn't have to be "girlie" or "preppy" two of my least favorite words back then. I think every one goes through those types of stages even the jocks and pretty girls. Uhm... where was I going with this? Oh yeah! I like pink now. I like her more than I like that ass hole orange. *glares*

What I used:

Eyes-
TFSI
Fyrinnae Pixie Epoxy
120 Palette
-Bright Pink w/ shimmer (Used on the lid.)
-Matte Neon Pink (In the crease.)

-Slightly Purple Dark Pink (Used over black to blend.)
-Shimmery Cream (Used to blend everything out.)
Nyc eyeliner in Black
Milani eyeliner
Mascara

lips-
Sally Girls Bright Pink Lipstick (Idk the name right this second.)

YAY! It's such a magnificent fall day! I dropped my Logic (Kathy I love you it's not your fault logic is hard for me.) and picked up a personal finance class. I'm actually excited for this class since I took a class similar to it in High School. It's a little boring but I'd like to handle my money with intelligence. I also want to know what to invest into in the future. Blah blah I'd better get to bed kiddies, I have to force my brother's friend into zombie make-up tomorrow.

Spirit Day-Fotd

I lost two very close friends to suicide in high school. I've typed about it several times but I've deleted every sentence because I never feel like any words I have can actually honor them. They were two of the best people I knew. It's been nearly four years with out them but I still tear up. I wore purple to let others know that it does get better. Taking your life may seem like a way to end the pain and torment but PLEASE there are people who love you. Maybe not people around you but I love you. Even if I don't know you I'm here for you.

Eyes-
TFSI

Fyrinnae Lip Luster in Lollypop-pop

In personal news I've decided to drop my logic class. Math has always brought my anxiety levels high since it's one of my triggers. I have terrible anxiety attacks brought on by stress and fear of failure. It's way to late into the semester to get money back but I'm hoping to pick up one or two more half semester classes. I don't think you'll see any less of me considering make-up is my stress reliever. :D

You're a HOT DOG!-Inspired by The Rocky Horror Picture Show

I'm on a Rocky Horror kick right now. My floor mates and I got a bit drunk and watched it last Thursday. It was fun to have a girls night since several of my other floor mates have been causing melodrama. This isn't an exact dupe of Frank-N-Furter's look but it's pretty close. Yes I'm in my bra. :D I didn't bring my corset and all my shirts are plain black. No low cut sexy tops here. :(

What I used:
Face-
Coyt Powder
White Face Powder to highlight
120 Palette (Red eyeshadow as blush and bronze/tan to contour.)

Eyes-
TFSI
Nyx Jumbo Eyeshadow Pencil in Milk

I hope you like this! I have several other looks I need to upload today! *bites lip*

Autumn Flapper-Fotd

I won't lie, I was going to rant about how craptastic my week has been. Then... I spoke to my Mom. Sometimes the littlest of things can make you happy. My Mom is pretty awesome and restored my sense of balance. My mom is sick from a lot of things but she still makes other people feel better. She's an RN at a local Assisted Living Home and a first generation American with her second language being English. I learned everything about make-up, taking care of people and being annoyingly nice to enemies from her. Yay mommies!
So about this look, I love flapper girls, especially their sense of style. Though I didn't do this in the traditional round eyeshadow but the bow style lips are flapper style I believe. Flapper girls didn't wear corsets, they cut their hair short and they drank hooch from illegal bars. Oh yes, the baddest girls around. Maybe not some one to look up to but defiantly some girls to admire.

What I used in this look:

Face-
Too Faced Poreless Primer
Hard Candy concealer palette
Fyrinnae mineral foundation
Aromaleigh You're a Doll Finishing Powder
Evil Shades blush in Ravishing

Eyes-
TFSI
Fyrinne Pixie Epoxy
High Voltage cosmetics e/s in Bloody Mary (Sexy blood red used on lid.)
High Voltage cosmetics e/s in Graveyard Dirt (The most perfect brown of perfect browns on the crease.)
Fyrinnae e/s in French Vanilla Shake
Milani eyeliner in black
NYC liquid eyeliner in black
Cover girl mascara

lips-
Nyx Round Lipstick in Rae
Estee Lauder lipstick in Fig (placed on the pout and cupids bows of the lips and blended out.)

I did receive my contest prizes from Julissa I haven't used anything yet except for One Hand washes the Other's legendary Deep Black soap. My face feels amazing. I had been crying so my make-up was wrecked, running down my cheeks and it cleaned it well. I must confess that since my Lush's Angels on Bare Skin ran out I've been using Anti-bacterical soap/ Neutrogena acne clearing/redness reducing soap on my face. Neither of these satisfy my skin well but the deep black totally did after one use. I can't wait to write up a review on it.

Rabbit Hearted Inspired by Florence and the Machine-FOTD

Right now I'm obsessed with Florence and the Machine. Three weeks ago I saw the music video for Dog Days and I freaked out. I couldn't get the song out of my head until I found out who it was by. After I discovered who it was by I raced around youtube playing all the songs I could find. Cosmic love, Rabbit heart, Drumming song, are just a few of my favorites right now. Florence and the Machine are the type of band I connect with, only the Brits now of her and a few people here in American love her. She's a bit like Imogen Heap in the way that her music has the ability to break through labels.
In the music video for Rabbit heart her make-up is very light and airy. I was pretty sure that she was wearing berry colored eyeshadow in the crease with a light goldish lid and muted bright pink. The video is very beautiful, a bit dark at the end but it's exactly how I pictured a faery picnic.
Aromaleigh's Wonderstruck collection was PERFECT for this look. The video and song are very Alice-esque which made this easy. I'll probably do a haul post soon explaining the surprise :D
What I used:

Eyes-
TFSI
Fyrinnae Pixie Epoxy
Aromaleigh Wonderstruck Collection e/s in Wonder-ous (Soft ivory gold used on the lid.)
Aromaleigh Wonderstruck collection e/s in Rule Forty Two (Lovely medium purple used in the crease.)
Aromaleigh Wonderstruck collection e/s in Temper Temper (Plum/maroon color in the corner crease and as an eyeliner.)
Covergirl Lash Blast

Lips-
Fyrinnae Lip Luster in Lollypop-pop

I'll try and post some more looks, I'm sorry there has been so few lately. A few of you guys requested a fashion post but uhm... I don't wear fashionable clothes. I wear tee-shirts and jeans most of the time. I own a lot of older clothes, I am one of those girls that wears shit till they fall apart. I have a few dressy clothes and I do love fashion I just don't... wear fashionable clothes. I am in need of jeans though, I found some at gabes buuut I'm probably taking them back since they're WAY to big. I think I dropped a jean size. WOOOTNESS.
I could talk about plus sized fashion though would you ladies be interested in that?

Swoon A story of Love-Fotd

My name is Rush Samson, I'm gay and I'm married.
We met at a Gay Pride Parade. He was tall and thin with messy black hair and a gorgeous jaw line. I was short and muzzy headed from waking up early in the morning to travel to the city. When he introduced himself as Jake my knees went weak. Legends say that you are connected to your true love by a red string, I saw the red string wrapped around his finger attached to my heart. There was a huge difference between our lives. I a preachers son, he the much loved child of two hippies. When I came out I was cast out of my home, when he came out his parents threw a party for him.
We both liked anime, sushi and cats. Long walks on the beach and bubble baths with a can of beer. It was funny how similar we were. "I confess I don't usually date gingers." He joked running a hand through my orange hair. "But you were to cute to pass up. Plus Ron was always my favorite Harry Potter character." I just smiled at him.
We went to the Pride Parade again, this time as husband and husband. Or at least husband and husband in Canada because the country we call home won't recognize our love. If something happens to Jake or I we wouldn't be covered by one another insurance. My life insurance wouldn't go to him if I died early and god forbid if we try and adopt a baby. Even my father, who hates me with a flaming passion, would be able to visit me in the hospital while my husband would have to wait outside. I hope some one reads this and realized how unfair this is. Love should never be judged.

Happy belated Coming Out Day. <3

What I used:

Eyes-
TFSI
Fyrinnae Pixie Epoxy

High Voltage e/s in Secrets and Lies (Used in the crease and blended upwards.)
Fyrinnae e/s in French Vanilla Shake (As a highlighting shade of course.)
NYC liquid eyeliner in black
Urban Decay 24/7 eyeliner in Flipside

lips-

Please help make love legal.

Zhann?

Oh god this was a lot harder than just slapping on some blue face paint. Sadly I didn't look at a reference photo so I missed a lot of details. In my own defense I am dumb and I didn't have any fishnet stockings to make the markings on my face that are similar to hers. This isn't the worst make-up I've done but it certainly isn't the best. Hopefully the fiance will let me turn him into the male version of Zhann since he has icy blue eyes like her.

What I used:
Too Faced eyeshadow Insurance (Spread all over the face.)
Cheap Blue Grease Paint (All around face but not on the eyes.)
High Voltage eyeshadow in Frost Bite (All around the eye and lid.)
High Voltage eyeshadow in Wild Night (To deepen the crease)
Fyrinnae eyeshadow Futuristic Glamrock (Mixed with face powder to put all over face.)
Sleek Palette (Matte navy blue used to contour the face.)
Cheap Yellow Grease Paint (Used on the cheek and forehead to try and make a pattern.)
Urban Decay Heavy Metal Glitter (used to define the "spots")
Evil Shades lipstick in Fiendish/Nyx Lipstick in Deep red

Phew! *wipes brow* What a work out. Ok kiddies I made a facebook like page, please like if you well... like. :D
