Sparkle Is My Crack Inspired Look
Lisa Kate of Sparkle Is my Crack posted this really hot purple smokey eye with teal in the corner of her eye. I squealed when I saw it and decided to wear it when I went out today. I think it's a really nice date night eye. :D I didn't have the exact Fyrinnae colors as she did but I had colors in the same "family" that more suited my coloring.
What I used:
Face-
Neautrogena concealer
Fyrinnae Foundation ( Discountinued :( )
Nyx Blush in Mocha
Eyes-
Too Faced Eyeshadow Insurance (All over the lid.)
Fyrinnae Pixie Epoxy ( Near the dear duct.)
Fyrinnae Eyeshadow in Broken Doll ( Swept over the lid in a round shape on the crease as well.)
Fyrinnae Eyeshadow in French Vanilla Shake ( As highlight and to blend out a bit of the Broken Doll.)
E.L.F. Quad in Silver Lining ( The darkest purple dabbed on the crease and BLENDED like crazy .Also along the lower lash line.)
Fyrinnae Eyeshadow in Bali Mayn ( I can't recall it's real name. :( This was applied over the tear duct with a tiny brush)
Urban Decay 24/7 eyeliner in zero ( Lined upper but only until I hit the teal.)
Masssuuuura
Kay so afterwards I went to Wal-mart with the fiancee and I bought some of Hard Candy's Walk the Line eyeliner. Don't get it. It was a fail on my part. I should have stuck with Almay or waited to get that Ben Nye Blix was telling me about. The formula is thin, the pigmentation is poor and the crap doesn't come off once it sets. So if you make a boo boo and don't catch it before it sets... oi. What an annoyance. I'm thinking about taking it back since it was so blechy. I don't think they take back cosmetics but it would be such a waste just to throw it in the bin. :/
I hope everyone is having a good day. :3 Please check out Nymph's review of Lush's Shower Pucks down below. Just look for Nymph Notions and the different colored typing. And please go check out Lisa Kate's blog Sparkle is my Crack it's in our blog roll. Kthxbai.

Green ( And Teal) Eyed Monster
I've been kind of sick lately. :( I went to the E.R. but they couldn't figure out what's the matter with me. So since I've been bored and going out of my mind for begin stuck at home I decided to do an experimental look. I don't wear greens very much. I've been told they look terrible on me, but today I didn't care. Taking risks is what make-up is about. You could always wash it off if you don't like it. Hee-hee
What I used:
Eyes-
Nyx Jumbo Pencil in Milk
Nyx Eyeshadow Mermaid Green ( on the lid, this color is metallic and sheer at the same time. I had to pile this on.)
Nyx Eyeshadow Palette in Hippie-Chic ( Used the teal as the crease color and then patted it over the lid. I also used the glittery white color in the palette as a high light.)
Rimmel Kohl liner in Black ( Upper and lower lash line heavily lined.)
L'oreal H.I.P. Metallic eyeliner in Gold ( on upper lid against the lash line.)
Almay Liquid Eyeliner in Black ( On upper lid slightly over the gold.)
I didn't put much on my face. Honestly just a dab of powder on my nose so the pores wouldn't stand out so much. Haha.
I hope you guys like this look. I think I'm going to wear greens more often now.
Oh my Almay liquid liner is nearly out I was curious to know what you all would recommend. Preferably something of the drugstore level please. Thanks everyone!

Sweet and Subtle look for the Club
On Saturday my group and I went to the gay club to see our favorite Drag Queens. I didn't want something heavy and glittery that would sweat off if I danced. Having purple streaks running down your cheeks only look cool when they're on purpose. So I chose a pretty plummy/mauve for the crease and a subtle chocolate color that has almost copper colored felks in it. I wear this often to school because they pair so well together. I wish my camera picked the colors up better but it's nearly a decade old. :( My other good digital camera broke randomly one day. *sigh*
What I used:
Face-
Stila Illuminating Tinted Moisterizer
Eyes-
Too Faced Shadow Insurance
Fyrinnae Pixie Epoxy
Fyrinnae Druid Werewolf ( Just on the lid.)
Fyrinnae Samhain Spirits ( On the crease, blended out a bit.)
Fyrinnae Faerie Relm ( Highlight :d)
Almay liquid Eyeliner in Black
Urban Decay 24/7 eyeliner 1999 ( Lower lash line, lower water line and then winged out slightly at the bottom.)
Same mascara as always.
Lips-
Nyx Round Lipstick Thalia
Disclaimer: I have gotten an order for free from Fyrinnae before but I am no affiliated with them. I wear the products because I like them not because I was sent them for free. I buy all of my products and if I do get them a different way you will be informed. For future reference this disclaimer will be posted in the side bar of the blog.
Thank you.
When your Fifteen...
Have you ever wanted to go into the past and be yourself with the knowledge you have now? I would have done so many things differently, but at the same time I'm not sure if I'd change a thing. When I was fifteen I was a fledgling Goth who had a massive want to be Death from the famous Sandman comic books. I even wore the little swirls around my eyes with the same happy go lucky attitude as her. As I got older I began to grow out of the gothic style. I believe it had something to do with being fired from my first job at Hot Topic hee-hee. I wish I could find my bondage pants and snap on the ole' wrist bands again but I don't have the proper shoe wear any more. :(
This look I did was based on my teen years, also try to imagine me with braces on when you see my cheese-tastic grin. I guess my fiancee found something he liked in this. We met when I was seventeen, I still wore make-up like this with my huge bondage pants. Gah, I have no idea what he saw in me! Hee hee boys are silly.
What I used:
Face-
Thick foundation ( some random liquid one I found.)
Nyx blush pinky ( Yes I wore it that heavy and brightly.)
Eyes-
H.I.P. Color Stick in gold ( Applied heavily, though I didn't know much about bases when I was that young.)
E.L.F. eyeshadow Quad in silver lining ( The gray on the lid and the cream color as the high light.)
Nyx eyeshadow Black ( In crease, winged out, not blended at all. :3)
Almay Liquid eyeliner black ( To make the swirl and to line lower lash line.)
Lips-
Estee Lauder lipstick Candy ( Applied with a heavy hand.)
I had fringe when I was fifteen thus the folded up hair. Fringe makes me look like I'm ten years old lol!!!
What did you look like when you were fifteen? This is my challenge to you! Do the best impression of yourself at that age or post an actual picture of you at that age on your own blog. :d
Love ya'll!

Nevermore Arabic Styled Look
Find the title for this look was kind of difficult. I did this for fun, I didn't wear it out even though it's a beautiful look. I know it looks a little messy but I was being nudged by my cat Freya.
My eyes really aren't the proper shape to pull off the beautiful eyeliner style I often see Middle Eastern women wear. So please forgive it look a bit odd. :3
What I used:
Face-
liquid Foundation
A tan/peach color blush
Eyes-
Too Faced Shadow Insurance
Fyrinnae Eyeshadow Nevermore ( On lid and than winged out in the corner of the crease.)
Fyrinnae Eyeshadow Broken Doll ( Patted against the corner of the crease, right near the Nevermore.)
E.L.F. Eyeshadow Silver Lining the lavender( Over the black and in the inner corner.)
E.L.F. Eyeshadow Silver Lining the beige ( The highlight of course.)
Almay Liquid Eyeliner ( Applied over lash line, into the corner and than winged out. Added to bottom lashes as well.)
Nyx Eyeshadow in Black ( In crease, over some of the Nevermore, over even more of the eyeliner etc etc.)
Urban Decay 24/7 eyeliner Zero (Upper and lower water lines I'm talking caked on.)
Usual Mascara
Lips-
Nyx Round lipstick in Circe
Nyx Lipgloss in Tea Rose
I hope you guys like this look. It was lots of fun to do even though Freya was knocking into me. Also sorry for the blurry picture of her. Have a great day! Er... night or whenever you read this.

Lazy Day Gold ETOF
I think I wore this Sunday. I didn't wear much make-up Monday or today so I thought I'd post this.
What I used:
Face-
Stila illuminated Tinted Moisturizer
E.L.F. High Lighter stick Pink Lemonaid
Eyes-
Too Faced Eyeshadow insurance
Fyrinnae Pixie Epoxy
Fyrinnae Aztec Gold ( Brushed all over lid.)
Fyrinnae Nijiro ( Used as high light and put in inner corner.)
Nyx Mermaid Green ( In crease, lightly, VERY LIGHTLY just to make the crease a tad bit darker.)
Urban Decay 24/7 Eyeliner Mildew ( Used in upper and lower water line.)
Maybelline Stiletto Lash Mascara
Lips-
Chapstick
Lately I've just been wearing light foundation or just powder. I used to wear really heavy foundation when I was younger. Thankfully I grew out of the stage because now my skin looks great. What was did you do when you were younger that is a make-up fail today?

Moon stone Labyrinth
Oh God, I really have to stop listening to The Labyrinth sound track while I'm doing my make-up. Or I'll come up with these names. X3
I know there are two of basically the same picture but I wanted to show off the moonstone pendant the look is based off of. I also have an Annie Lennox "Why" music video make-up look. But I'm not sure if I want to post it since the pictures aren't very great.
What I used:
Face- Normal stuff
Eyes-
Too Faced Shadow insurance
NYX Jumbo Pencil in black bean ( Just on the lid.)
Beauty from the Earth pigment Whisper ( all over lid, crease and brow bone.)
Nyx Trio Palette Lake Moss ( The black/blue color lightly VERY LIGHTLY dabbed and blended on the crease.)
Urban Decay 24/7 Eyeliner Pencil Zero (Upper and Lower lash lines)
Maybelline Stiletto Lash Mascara Black
Lips-
Nyx Round Lipstick Circe
I really love this look. It's so simple and pretty. It looks complicated because of the duo-chrome shadow but I just used one brush for the whole thing. My brother thought I was wearing like ten eyeshadows and my fiancee thought I put a lot of effort into the look. Hee-hee-hee yay for make-up tricks!
Now I'm off to a wee party!

Please excuse the terrible photos. It's been some time since I had a proper camera in my hands. It's a lovely color I just wish I wore it more often.
