Ah the Borg, how scary those mother effers are. The fiance and I are still watching Star Trek Next Gen we just haven't been watching it every day. I miss it a lot actually. We're nearly done with the last season which means we'll be starting Deep Space Nine next.

In more nerdy news my fiance has picked up playing Yugi-oh cards. I laughed my ass off when he told me he wanted to play. It would appear as though he's going through his second child hood. Er...teen hood?

I haven't ditched you guys I promise! I've just been very busy and then my internet was out. Bleh. My dad started a garden by the way. The lettuce has already been "harvested" and it's do freaking delicious. I have no idea what kind it is but it's so good without dressing. When we still lived with my grandparents they had a HUGE vegetable garden. My Ota grew peppers, tomatoes, green onions, corn, beans and a whole bunch of other veggies. My other Grandmother has an even bigger organic garden in Missouri. Her beets are so tasty people request them. I come from a veggie loving family haha.

My Little Pony:Friend Ship is Magic PINKIE PIE-fotd

Lillian inspired me to do my own My Little Pony Friendship is Magic look. I chose Pinkie Pie because she is my all time favorite. I love her hyper insanity and need to make others feel welcome. Most people would peg me as a Rarity kind of girl but Pinkie Pie holds my heart. (She was also my favorite in the old old ollllddd 80's version.) I've actually only watched three episodes Friendship is Magic but tomorrow I think I'm going to marathon it.

The Sunlight Hurts My Eyes-fotd

HOLY SHI- why is it so freaking HOT out? I cannot handle the heat. I am no hot house flower. I wilt when there is to much humidity and heat. UGH! Since it's been so hot for the last two weeks I haven't worn much make-up besides foundation and eyeliner. (They both melt off after three hours in this heat.) I mentioned my "make-up block" was happening again and Kathy suggested I do a "gawth" look using Danse Macabe. Robyn agreed with her so tried to make this as goth as I could. This isn't as goth as I hoped but I didn't want to use black eyeshadow. I feel like the black lipstick is the only thing goth but I'm proud of this look anyway.

Besides doing awesome make-up I went to Toys-R-Us for friends birthday presents. It was a walk down memory lane considering it was the toy store I went to as a child. The fiance ended up buying me a My Little Pony figurine. It's Pinkie Pie of course! They were having a buy one get one sale so I bought one for my best friend's birthday. I want Rarity and Twilight Sparkle next.

I had no idea what I was putting on today. I just kind of went with what my head told me to do. I think it turned out well. I wish I had orange lipstick and blush because this look would have been PERFECT with orange. It would have been a citrus circus!

Needless to say I think my "writers block" with make-up is finally over. I've decided to stop obsessing over trying to make my "wings" even. Once you stop trying to be perfect the creativity just takes over. (Snuggling with chihuahuas also helps my ~creative~ process.)

Mugwort with Wine-Experiment

Dang this turned out a lot darker and sexier then I imagined. I tried to take sexy pictures but I looked cross eyed in most of them. I think I'll stick to the frightened deer wide eyes or the I-swear-I'm not-stoned-just-tired half way open eye. Speaking of wide eyed deer like chicks I saw the Red Riding Hood movie today. Um no one told me Michael Shanks was in it. I kind of flipped when I saw him. Daniel Jackson is my favorite character from Stargate. It made me think back to the Stargate Sg-1 episode where Daniel Jackson and Vala were put into the bodies of those people in the Ori inhabited Galaxy. He was wearing pretty much he same outfit as that episode.

Oh this is a spoiler but he died in the movie. I was like " Poor Daniel never stops dying." Me and the fiance loled. Daniel had a bad habit of dying often...like very often. Poor Daniel. When we're done with all of the Star Trek shows I'm suggesting re-watching Stargate Sg-1. Then ya'll will be reading Stargate tweets instead of Star Trek tweets.

Endless Carnival and Red Marie-fotds

It was three a.m. when I did this. I didn't want to apply foundation or even bother to do the other eye. I'm pleased with how the look turned out. The pink and blue look great together with the added black. I wish I had done this crease style sooner. Instead of doing an upturn like I usually do I followed the down slope of my eye. I hope that when I try this again the other eye's crease will look even. I know no ones face is perfect but it frustrates me to see such a difference.

Sorry for having only two pictures for this one. My camera's battery ran out right as I was taking them. I really liked how this looking in person and how fast it was to put on. Sometimes I forget that I can do fast make-up with colors rather then just nudes. This look was inspired by Wendy of Turtle Beauty. She blends her creases out beautifully so I tried to emulate that.

I bought the Wet n Wild shade matching foundation yesterday. Surprisingly the foundation matched to my pale skin. I was expecting it to be too dark. I really want the Illamasqua Skin Base foundation in my shade.But right now I'm saving up my pennies for all the Leo's in my life. Most of my family/close friends are Leos. The end of this month and the start of the next leave me broke. My fiance, best friend, other close friend, Mother and Father are all Leos. For some reason though I can never remember anyones date I remember by whose next in line. Close friend Julia is first, Best friend Heather is next, Fiance is third, Mommy is fourth and Daddy is last.Or do I have that mixed up? Oh dear...

Sorry I haven't posted in a few days. I haven't been doing very complicated or pretty make-up these last few days. I actually wore both of these looks the other day on Friday. I ended up swimming with the green on. I realized I hadn't worn brown in a while so when I re-applied my make-up I used the vanity palette.

My internet is out for right now. Luckily my Fiance's Mother needs us to watch her house so I can use the internet there. The posts might be scattered for a while.

Dollipop Needs a Midori Sour-fotd

Oy today was a bit to stressful for me. I haven't had to deal with family issues in a while so I guess I had it coming. My Mother-in-law and my Mother had a run in which ended in my Mother's feelings being hurts. Thankfully my fiance and I were able to smooth it over a bit so it didn't end up exploding. Our Mother's rarely cross paths for a reason.

I noticed that Sugarpill's eyeshadows are very dense. I didn't have as much trouble blending the new shadows especially on a different base. They seemed to last longer with the jumbo pencil then just with the TFSI. I'm going to try them over an eyeliner base tomorrow. I'm happy to report that Midori stayed on my waterline all day. Even after I had a good cry and swam in the pool. Aw yeah.

Sugarpill, honey bunch you know that I love you-Haul

Oh yes. My fiance bought me the Sweetheart palette. Oh my goodness I'm so happy. Now I admit I was a bit intimidated by the actual palette. I love the Sugarpill shadows but the poison plum I own is a bit difficult to blend. When I used these for the first time they blended pretty well. Not AMAZING OMG well but good enough for me to be satisfied. The actual pigmentation of the shadow is what gets me. Holy crap I just press my brush ever so slightly into Tako (the white) and it's fantastic. I'm really impressed with how bright the shadows are.

I swore Midori was going to be my favorite but this time it's Afterparty. I'm doing a full review with swatches soon ya'll!

Cat's Pajamas-Experiment

"Hey baby' wanna take a ride? I've got some sugar for ya right here." The gentleman grinned at her from the cab of his car. He was well dressed but his oily hair gave away his personality.

"Look here, I'm not no prostitute! Get out of here you-you flat tire you!" Holly yelled at the . Her voice was high and thin like her eyebrows. Holly had just recently bleached her plain brown hair blonde but wasn't enjoying the attention. She wished she hadn't let Lucy cut her hair short either. She missed the long braids she used to wear so often.

"Calm down Holly he's just wants to take us to the club. Ain't that right mister?" Lucy flashed her award winning smile at him. Lucy had all the right things to be a flapper girl. Her black hair was already pin straight so when they cut it short with bangs it looked perfect. Holly hated having to put finger waves in her hair every morning.

Lucy climbed into the car without a second thought. "Butt me." She commanded. The man chuckled and stuck a smoke in her mouth. She fluttered her eyelashes while he lit the cigarette. "Ain't ya coming Holly? It'd sure be lousy without you." Damn, now she had to get in the car with the dead beat. No, no she didn't. She stomped her heeled foot and marched away so the fringe on her dress swung.Tomorrow she'd back her bags and head towards New York, Cleveland wasn't the town for her after all. She'd grow out her hair again and throw away her painful hair pins. But tomorrow wasn't here yet, today she'd enjoy herself and find a coffee shop that played Jazz instead of a club. She heard the final strains of a trumpet in the distance and knew she was heading the right way.

Yay for pointless stories! Right now I'm in love with the flapper girl style. I was inspired by BLIX's Morgana Cryptoria 1920's lipstick photoshoot. You will DIE if you see the pictures. They're so glamourous I got completely obsessed haha.

p.s. I made the full face shots cooler toned but the eye shots are un-enhanced/un-changed. I don't normally enhance or edit my pictures but I liked the way these looked edited.

Red, White and Blue...wait where's the white?-fotd

Happy Independence Day fellow Americans! I hope you're enjoying the fireworks.

Excuse the eerie white eyed close lipped smile. I have no idea what I was thinking. Today I used the sample of Illamasqua's new Skin Base Foundation that I won in their giveaway. I'd written that I wanted the white shade by accident instead of the pinky-fair shade. However the white actually worked on my skin and blended in fairly well. If I had wanted the white color of the foundation to actually stick out I would have used a white powder along with it. I'm really surprised at how well it blended into my skin. I look a lot paler but I love the way it looks. I may buy the shade that actually matches my skin tone someday but I'm a little broke right now haha.
