High Voltage e/s in Starbreaker (Shimmery chartreuse used on the lid.)
Wet N Wild Dark Elf palette (Shimmery black used to trace the crease and make a cut crease. Also used on the lower lash line.)

Evil Shades e/s in Phyrra's Fantasy (Soft sweet bright pink used over Druscilla on the crease.)

This Christmas-Fotd
Hello my beautifuls! I hope your Christmas/Holidays are going well. I know this isn't Thanksgiving but I'm so thankful to have all of you guys in my life. <3
Christmas Eve is usually when we do Christmas in my family and in Shaun's family. Usually we stay with my parents but his Mom really wanted to see us so we had two Christmases. It was nice because even though I have a rough history with his family the holidays seem to bring out the best in them. We were with them till eight when we bolted out the door to rush home. We had a nice dinner with my parents and brothers then came the presents. We ripped through our presents in a matter of minutes. I got a new camera, a chicken shaped tea pot, an ugly hat that fits my giant head and some gift cards.
I hope Santa was good to you and brought you what you wanted. And if you don't celebrate Christmas Happy Holidays/Saturday. I hope you had a peaceful day.
What I used:
Eyes-
TFSI
High Voltage e/s in Freestyle (Soft pine green blended into the crease then downward to the lid and also on the lower lash line.)
Fyrinnae Pixie Epoxy (patted on the lid)
Morgana Cryptoria Dark Green glitter (Thank you Ana for the present!!! I used this on the lid.)
Fyrinnae e/s in Nijiro (Highlighting shade of course.)
Urban Decay Heavy Metal Glitter liner in Distortion ( Used on the corner of the lid and slightly over the top of the lid.)
E.L.F. Liquid eyeliner in black
Milani eyeliner
Mascara
Lips-
Sheer red lipstick (unlabeled sadly but such a beautiful color.)
I'm really impressed by the Morgana Cryptoria glitter that Ana sent me. They are the easiest glitters I've ever worked with. They aren't chunky or to small. The Hi-Fi glitters are so small they get stuck in my pores but these glitters are great. I'm planning on buying more when I have zee cash. (Aka when I get a job on campus.) What do you guys think of the picture quality? Better then my old camera haha. :D
Happy Yule!

We're All Made of Stars-Fotd
Being sick sucks, the medicine I've been taking barely works. Though it has been giving me some really strange dreams. Yesterday I had one of those naked dreams but I was walking around Kent. The day before I dreamt I was in the Buffyverse on a murder case with a combo of Angel and Seely Booth from Bones (Aka David Boreanaz Mmmm.) I usually have very vivid dreams but I can't usually remember them past a few hours.
Uhm what else do I have to blather on about? Oh yes I have some sad news on the 27th I'm going to my Grandfather's house to finish cleaning it out and paint it. I'll be there for about five days so I will be out of contact for a while. (Since there is no internet there.) Hopefully I will be able to do a few bonus looks for you or some timed reviews so my blog isn't completely dead. I'm really sorry I was really hoping I would be able to post. *sigh*
What I used:
Eyes-
TFSI
Fyrinnae Pixie Epoxy
High Voltage e/s in Twinkling Stars (Light pearly violet used on the lid. Love this color.)
High Voltage e/s in Vampire Kisses (Dark purple used in the crease.)
High Voltage e/s in Crystal Ball (Silvery sparkly blue used in the inner corner and above the crease.)
Fyrinnae e/s in French Vanilla Shake (Blended downwards as a highlight.)
NYC Liquid eyeliner in black
Milani eyeliner in black
Mascara
Lips-
Nyx Round Lipstick in Narcissus
Morgana Cryptoria Lipstick in Shrieking Violet
When I first started out doing my make-up today I a matte look with a sparkly crease. Sadly the NYX jumbo pencil base I used mate the matte shadow patchy. Should I just try using it with Too Faced Shadow Insurance?

Quick Fix: Tresemme Waterless Foam Shampoo
I realized I don't do enough reviews so welcome to the first quick fix reviews! Quick fix reviews are going to be first impressions or really fast reviews of products I love/hate.
My fiance bought this because he had read that dry shampoos will help the gross feeling of oily roots. We dyed his hair a bright blue recently so he doesn't want to wash his hair to often. He has really thin hair that doesn't get oily till the third day of no washing.
I on the other hand am a greaser full of oil. My hair gets really greasy after one day of no washing. It's very thick with coarse strands that do not take curls, straightening irons or even hold color. I do blow dry it to keep the waves down but my hair remains healthy.
With this Tresemee Waterless Foam shampoo your suppose to pump a bit into your hand. Run it through your hair. Then towel it off to remove whatever dirt or oily bits were in your hair.
We both tried it this morning. It was gross. His usually dry hair felt sticky and very oily. It left a nasty residue on my hands after I touched it. With my hair it gave my bed head a film of extra oil. As I touch my hair right now to feel it the nasties left on my fingers leave grease marks on my laptop keys.
The product isn't all bad however. It smells pretty good and it does get rid of the smell of dirty hair. It's also in the $4 to $6 range which is inexpensive. It did make the top of my hair "look" clean but to me the feeling is more important.
I would give this a 1 out of 5.
I believe Phyrra did a wonderful review on Tresemme's other waterless shampoo.
What are your opinions on this product? Have you used this before? Or do you have any recommendations for a better dry shampoo?

:( Sorry guys I'm a bit sick right now. I'm hoping I'll be over it in a few days. No posts until then because I don't want my make-up to get germy. :(

Falsies-Experimental Look
I put the false lashes on backwards. HOW DO YOU DO THAT? Apparently only I can. I bought these for the faerie series but I wanted to test them out first. I have terrible luck with lashes, or so I thought. These are actually really amazing. They were a lot easier to manage than the heavy Chinese/Korean false lashes I have. I'm thinking of buying a thicker pair or a "prettier" pair for those extra glittery looks. Does anyone recommend any good e-stores to buy lashes from?
I tried to do an Emilie Autumn Enchant era look today but it just didn't seem to be working for some reason. I even bought the Nyx Cream Glitter palette just for that purpose. Sadly the cream glitters suck. I mean they suck as hard as dollar store glitter cream shadows. I'm really disappointed I spent six dollars on them. I think I'm taking them in tomorrow and trading them. Ugh. I seem to have no luck with glitter. I think I'm just going to have to do the look without glitter.
I don't really like this look very much, it's to simple for me. I have seen a lot of girls work this look though so maybe it's just not me. I think the black eyeliner under the white is what's driving me crazy. Next time I do a look like this I'm putting black in the crease. (Oh and putting the lashes on correctly lol.)
What I used:
Face-
Hard Candy Concealer Palette
Stila Tinted Moisturizer
Estee Lauder Blush Palette Bronzer (Used to contour the face.)
Nyx Blush in Pinky (Cause my Mocha broke and died. D:)
Eyes-
Nyx Jumbo e/s pencil in Cottage Cheese (On the brow bone and crease.)
Nyx Jumbo e/s pencil in Milk (On the lid and waterline.)
Random matte white (Used all over the lid.)
Milani eyeliner in black
Random black e/s (Used to line the lower lash line.)
Salon Perfect Lashes 28
Rimmel Mascara (Can't remember the name atm but it sucks. D:)
Lips-
Random Dark Pink Lip liner
Estee Lauder Lipstick in Candy
Tomorrow I'm going to try and put these things on the RIGHT way. P.s. I have a very special post coming up.

The World of Faerie: The Undine
Undines used to be the terrors of the water. Before the mermaid or siren they were luring handsome sailors to their dooms. Now Undines stay silent, brushing their hair, cooing at the beautiful boys who come near the water. They have become pacified by time. They are different from Nixie's and mermaids because they don't have tails or wings though they are a water spirit. They are unusually tall with pale skin and transparent blonde, green or blue hair. Undines usually live up to the North in fresh water lakes. Arthurian legend suggests the Lady of the Lake was an Undine. (Undine was also one of the Monsters in MonsterRanchers btw. I remember cause she was my favorite in the show besides Mochi.)
What I used:
Face-
NYX Jumbo e/s pencil in Milk (Around the eyes and cheeks.)
Hot Topic White Face Powder
Stick on Jems
120 Palette Blue (On the cheek bones; badly.)
Nyx Blush in Pinky
Eyes-
Nyx Jumbo e/s pencil in Milk
120 Palette
-Navy-ish blue (Used to cut the crease)
-Brighter blue (Over the navy blue to brighten color also used on the lower lash.)
-Bright green (Used on the last third of the lid.)
-Softer bright green (Used in the middle of the lid and lower lash.)
-Soft pale aqua (Used on the inner corner of the lid and lower lash.)
Milani eyeliner in black
Cover Girl Lash Blast Muscuuura
Nyx Jumbo eyeshadow Pencil (To Highlight.)
Eyebrows smoothed upwards with a glue stick
Wet N Wild purple eyeliner pencil (Used to outline the eyebrows.)
Urban Decay Heavy Metal Glitter in Distortion ( Used on the inner part of the lower lash line, on the cheeks and used to highlight the eyebrows.)
Lips-
Evil Shades Lipstick in Fiendish
Alright I'm not sure I completely love this look. The eyebrows were a total fail and I the one spot on my lip never covers up when I use lipstick that's any other color then "Tea Rose." Mermaid or water fairies will be tough to do since most I imagine have blue or green lips. *shakes fist at lips* Hopefully I'll figure out how to work blue lips soon. I think I'm going to try concealing my lips next time.

The World of Faerie: Pookah
Mistakenly I left my huge faerie book at home. So I am left with wikipedia to tell you what a pookah or puca is. I often get the pookah mixed up with a Kelpie but there is a huge difference between the two. Though the both come in the shape of horses the kelpie kills and eats humans while the pookah tries to lead them away from danger or give them advice. The pookah can shape shift into a goat or a dog but they remain black with red eyes.
I decided start this series because frankly there just isn't enough faerie on this blog. I'm going to try and do as many faeries as I can from all over the world. There are a SHIT TON of different types so don't expect this to ever be over haha. There might even be some monster make-up thrown in for the scary flesh eating fae. If you guys have any requests for faeries you like to see done just put them here or on my facebook.
What I used:
Faces-
Hard Candy Concealer Palette
Fyrinnae Mineral Foundation in Opal
NYX Blush in Mocha
Coyt Powder (To highlight.)
Eyes-
TFSI
Fyrinnae Pixie Epoxy
Fyrinnae e/s in The Witche's Brewery (Black with red sparkles used on the lid.)
Fyrinnae e/s in Glitterboi (Shimmery/glittery blue based purple used on the corner of the eye.)
Evil Shades e/s in Heartless Queen (Blue based red used in the crease.)
Morgana Cryptoria e/s in Twinkling Cherries (Yellow Based red used over Heartless to add dimension.)
NYX Jumbo Pencil in Black Bean (Used on the waterline and lower lash line then blended.)
Fyrinnae e/s in French Vanilla Shake (Used to highlight of course.)
Milani eyeliner in black (To line the top of the lid.)
Covergirl Lash Blast Mascara
lips-
Black Lip gloss
I was going to have a small haul post for ya'll but my fiance forgot the package he was suppose to bring me on Saturday. I'll be home for break really soon but right now finals are consuming my life. I should be working on my poetry stuff right now but I needed a small creative break. :D Good luck on your finals if you're a student like me. If you're not a student stay warm. If you live in a warmer climate I'm extremely effing jealous it's cold as balls here. *shivers*

Good Bye Orchids-fotd
Yes the title is a reference (slightly) to the song Good Bye Horses. My friends and I are obsessed with Silence of the Lambs. This means we dance like Buffalo Bill, constantly quote Hannibal and talk like Jodie Foster. (Who is a BAD ASS MIGHT I ADD.) It's become an obsession I'm afraid.
What I used:
Eyes-
TFSI
Fyrinnae Pixie Epoxy
NYX Jumbo Pencil in Milk (Applied lightly just on the lid, under the eye and on the lower waterline.)
High Voltage e/s in Pink Heels (A soft orange based pink used on the corner of the eye.)

High Voltage e/s in Alter Ego (Nearly pink purple used on the lid and on the lower lash line.)
NYC Liquid eyeliner in Black

Event Horizon-FOTD
Last Friday my brother and my fiance came to visit me in Kent. They came baring a package from Aromaleigh. I was excited since I hadn't ordered anything but I had been eyeing Miss K's new Astronomical collection. I ripped open the package to find samples of the new collection and samples of Ciao Italia which I already owned at one point. I did get these for free but that does not impact my decision making while reviewing/using the product. I want to do swatches but after the failed swatches I did the other day I realized my camera is to shitty to take decent swatch pictures. Grey has some amazing swatches on her blog if you'd like to check them out.
I really like this collection because it reminds me of Stargate Sg-1. When I saw Event Horizon I was like "OMG HAVE TO USE ASDFUIYFASDUYfsds." I am a huge Stargate geek. Mmm Daniel... *drools* Er... where was I?
What I used:
Eyes-
TFSI
Fyrinnae Pixie Epoxy
Aromaleigh e/s in Event Horizon (A soft aqua color used on the lid with a flat shader brush.)
Aromaleigh e/s in Escape Velocity (A Navy blue used on the crease.)
Aromaleigh e/s in Big Bang ( A dark blue based purple used on the inner crease to deepen the look.)
Aromaleigh e/s in Milky Way (A dupe for Rosina used as a highlighting shade.)
Milani eyeliner in black
NYC Liquid eyeliner in black
mascara
lips-
Fyrinnae lip Luster in Puppy Love
So I realized lately a lot of my looks have been the monochromatic light colors with the darker versions of said color in the crease. I really need some inspiration and I was wondering if you guys would leave me some suggestions or links to images that inspire you! I'm running low on inspiration because of seasonal sadness. Thank you!
P.S. In gossipy news Julia and Roman made it official thanks to all your comments. He asked her out and now they're boyfriend and girlfriend! I'm so happy! I've been seeing this happen for nearly two months. (It's been driving me crazy. I was like JESUS THE SEXUAL TENSION! JUST KISS ALREADY!!!!!!!!!!!!)

Julia's "special" friend-Drag Make-up
You know a man is trying really hard to impress you when he allows your friend to put make-up on him. This beautiful young lady right here is actually Roman, a Russian born American who moved here after the cold war. He speaks Russian but only enough to fill a thimble. (which is pretty fun to listen to.) Julia and he are in the annoying stages of "talking." Hopefully they'll get together soon. :D He let me do drag make-up on him because it was my birthday. Most of the men I work on squirm a lot while he stayed pretty still and listened to directions. I wish all the men I do make-up on (zombie, drag, etc.) would stay as still as he did.
What I used:
Elmere's Glue Stick to Cover his Brows
Coyt powder to powder down the brows and the whole face to make an even base
120 Palette
-Hot Pink (Placed on the lid and the crease.)
-Darker Hot Pink (Used on the outer corner of the eye and inner corner to add depth.)
-Shimmery Medium Purple (Used to make the eyebrows the crease also used under the eye.)
-Shimmery White (To highlight the inner corner of the eye and the brow bone.)
-Shimmery black (Used to line the upper lash line and make eyebrows.)
Hot Topic White Powder to Highlight the Skin
Brown eyeshadow to contour
NYX blush in pinky on the cheeks
Sally Girl Hot Pink lip pencil to line the lips
NYX Round Lipstick in Narcissus
I had a lot of fun doing this. I'm hoping he'll let me do it again but that's rare. Even my fiance won't let me practice drag looks on him anymore. He said no after I tried taking pictures of him. :( I hope you guys enjoyed this!
OH BY THE WAY. THE CREEPER WAS MOVED OFF MY FLOOR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! BEST. PRESENT. EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Birthday Cake-FOTD
One shouldn't spend their birthday night curled into a little ball on ones bed because of a crippling stomach ache. Oh no. Alright... actually I need to start writing about more positive things. This is not livejournal this is blog spot! In much better news it looks like things are getting taken care of via the stalking/harassing problem. I'm really happy! This means he could be moved off the floor. Julia isn't as afraid as she was before. We still walk together because he's still frightening for some one to deal with by themselves. On Friday we went to a henna party the building was hosting. It was nice to get away from the drama and just have fun. We each were given a tube full of henna to play with. I'm not good at making intricate designs but I did have fun playing with it.
Today has been an ok day. This weekend my fiance is coming to celebrate my birthday with me. We're going to go some where nice for dinner or walk around down town Kent. The best present will be to see him since I have to stay the weekend because of finals. I'm lucky I only have finals in two classes. The one is online which makes it ten times easier for me.
What I used:
Eyes-
TFSI
Fyrinnae Pixie Epoxy (OMG ALMOST OUT! AH!)
Fyrinnae e/s in Twinkle Twinkle Little Bat (My favorite purple/pink used on the lid, layered with P.E. twice. Then used on the lower lash line with a lot of P.E. :D)
Fyrinnae e/s in Parental Advisory (Shimmery blue based purple put in the crease.)
Fyrinnae e/s in French Vanilla Shake
Urban Decay Heavy Metal eyeliner in Distortion (Used as a gel base for...)
Aromaleigh Rocks! Glitter in Masquerade ( Used to line the upper lid.)
Milani eyeliner in black
mascara
lips-
Morgana Cryptoria lipstick in Azalea Blue
I actually layered the Pixie Epoxy over the shadow for this look. Brian (of Cosmetic Viking) was the one who came up with the idea. It worked amazingly well and it hasn't creased yet! :D

Olinda? You've changed!-FOTD/Rant
The snow hasn't stopped since six last night. Sadly it doesn't seem to be sticking around very long. As soon as the sun was up it melted away and now it's icy with a soft blanket of snow. Sadly these last few days have been full of stress and fear. No one should be afraid of living in their own home or dorm. The situation with one of my floor mates stalking/harassing my friend has become worse. The police were involved but they said they couldn't do anything because he's never actually put his hands on her. I don't get it. Aren't the bad guys suppose to be taken care of? I'm sorry I'm unloading on here. I just don't know what to do any more. It went from bad to worse faster then I thought it would.
On that slightly disturbing note I bring your attention to the look. I actually copied a copy of one of my own looks put changed around the colors. Kathy of Spinster-in-training inspired me. <3
What I used:
Eyes-
TFSI
Fyrinnae Pixie Epoxy
Aromaleigh e/s in Olida (Soft sweet pink used on the lid.)
Aromaleigh e/s in Liriope (Pink based medium purple used in the crease.)
Aromaleigh e/s in Celinette (Sweet yellow put on the inner corner of the eye.)
Fyrinnae e/s in Faerie Realm (A sheer lavender used as a highlighting shade.)
Urban Decau 24/7 eyeliner in Flipside (Used on the waterline.)
NYC Liquid eyeliner in Black
Mascara
Lips-
Fyrinnae Lip Luster in Puppy Love
I love it when the rainbow sparkles from the eyeshadow fall on to my cheek. It looks like I have soft highlights. Tomorrow I have some *gasp* swatch posts lined up! CAN YOU BELIEVE IT?
SORRY!
I'm really sorry guys! Finals week is coming up and the situation on my floor has become a lot worse. I'll try and post as often as I can!
Thank you so much for sticking with me!
Thank you so much for sticking with me!

Saints, Sinners and Me-FOTD
No full face picture lads/lasses. I looked really gross in all the ones I took today. I have finals week coming up shortly so I may not have a lot of time to devote to blogging. I'll still try to post daily pictures but the posts will be really short like this one. I'm going to try and put up some reviews soon. I may do that in place of the fotds just so I can get shit done faster. I'm sorry! Atleast Christmas is soon right?

Unicorn Princess...not that one/Slytherin Redux...-Julia Fotds
Oh hey a post all about Julia! My make-up was boring today but I did hers so I thought I might post it. I also did a Slytherin make-up on her the night Deathly Hallows came out. Sadly we didn't go. We just hung around sighing sadly about the fact that we didn't get to go.

Random Black Lipgloss that looks brown on her
Actually I think I did this look to her the day I did the Hufflepuff one. My R.A. saw us walking around with black lip gloss on and he told me it looked natural on me. Like he expected me to wear black lip gloss haha. Julia became offended when he said it looked like chocolate on her. I personally think every girl should wear black lipstick or gloss once.

Ophelia the Asylum Girl-Inspired by Emilie Autumn
Ophelia
Taunting ribbons of word crash.
Haunting blood colored water soaks.
The water is only waist deep.
You can't drowned in something so shallow.
Lay down in the cool water.
Grasp at the last strings of sanity.
The reeds call your name
Sweet one, shy one, good one now lost.
Lotus covers your mouth.
The feeling of the living is lost between your lungs.
Not the daisy chain around your head can keep you a float.
Not the will of your brother, your father or your mother.
Lay you down in the water now.
Let the tears, blood, pain be washed away.
Er... that's a poorly written poem I wrote. Ophelia is actually one of my favorite literary characters. She's very much the tragic young girl I wanted to be when I was going through my over-dramatic phase. (You know the one... where the boys are just to immature. Your parents are too cruel. And to top it off boyfriend has gone crazy with the loss of his father... wait...) I've never actually been that into miss Emilie Autumn. I'd heard of her before but never listened to her music in length. I'd heard a few amazing covers but that's about it. Of course I listened to her music while doing this. I'm kind of enthralled now. I really like her song Gothic Lolita and Misery Loves Company. :D
There are a few this wrong with this. The hearts are a bit small/wonky and the lips are the wrong shade/shape. Plus I'm missing glitter! GLITTER ALL OVAH DAH FACE. I'm probably going to re-do this after I finish the Enchanted era inspired look of hers.
What I used:
Face-
You should powder your face to look white to do this but my face powder is at home.
Use a bright pink or red blush in the hallows of the cheeks. You're suppose to look slightly insane.
Eyes-
TFSI
Fyrinnae Pixie Epoxy

Morgana Cryptoria e/s in Twinkling Cherries (Yellow based red used to lightly line the crease.)
Evil Shades e/s in Heartless Queen (Bright blue based red used on the lid, over the black.)
Sally's Quad black e/s (Used over the red/black in the corner of the crease.)
High Voltage e/s in Alter Ego (Pinky/purple lightly over the black in the crease.)
Random Glittery white e/s (Used to blend up the red towards the brow bone.)
Sally's Quad Soft Pink e/s (Used on the outer brow bone.)
Sally's Quad white e/s (Used on the upper part of the brow bone and corner of the eye.)
Sally's Quad Black e/s (On the lower lash and then winged out.)

NYC Liquid eyeliner in Black
Mascara (On top and bottom but heavier on the bottom lash please.)
Lips-
