The Dreadnaught FOTD

So I'm reading Scott Westerfield's book Leviathan which has quickly become one of my new favorite books. It re-writes World War I turning it into a battle between the Darwinists or the countries that use gene splicing to create massive living air ships, huge draft animals ( think lions and ox blended together.) And the Clankers aka steampunk style land ships, air planes and plenty of weapons made before their time. It still retains some actual historical facts like the Archduke's murder being the start of the war, Britain and Russia being alias etc. It's a really good read, my kid brother read it in a day he liked it so much.
This eotd is based on the massive German land ships called Dreadnaughts that walk on many legs patrolling the Austrian mountain sides. I can't help but get swept up in the idea of steam punk. *sighs dreamily*

What I used:

Neutrogena Mineral Sheers kit
Nyx Blush in Mocha

Too Faced Shadow Insurance
Fyrinnae Pixie Epoxy
Fyrinnae Steampunk ( Made cut crease just above actual crease, blended out into cat eye shape, blending upwards.)
Fyrinnae Nijiro ( Highlight to blend out steampunk and than inner corner of the eye blended up into steampunk.)
Hi-Fi Wanted ( On lid and a little of crease blended into steampunk to make the shades fade into each other._
Estee Lauder Bronze colored eyeliner pencil (Used on the lower lash line.)
Urban Decay 24/7 Eyeliner in Zero (Upper and lower lash line.)
Almay liquid eyeliner in onyx ( Used to make cat eye shape on the outside corner.)
Maybelline Colossal Lash Mascara

Nyx lipstick in Tea Rose

By doing this look I wanted to show that browns can be worn in an exciting way instead of just the boring usual way. I really like how the shape ended up. My eyes look huge when I look in the mirror.
Love, peace and living ships ( MOYA!!!!!!!!!!!)

  1. This is a great look with brown! I never have done a brown look, when I am too lazy to do fun makeup I just do a single brown shade. So I really like this :) I love all your EOTD's!

  2. KAHJSDKJASLDJL I NEED TO READ LEVIATHAN. NOW. I adored his Uglies series and have always meant to read Leviathan, but I never really knew what it was about. I adore steampunk <3

    That lid shade is killer

  3. Heather- Thank you! When I'm a slump I usually just to the "pin-up" look. It looks alright but it's always the same "brown, nude, brown meh." lol Thank you! I love your eotd too. I just comment as much as I should. >.<
Silhouette-Oh my gaaaaawwwwdd Leviathan was AMAZING I just finished it last night! It's going to be a series so he left off at a cliff hanger. Gah so good.

Please leave a comment I'd love to hear from you.
