Saint Patrick Days and Forgotten Grey/Blue-Two fotd

Oh boy what an eventful two days.
My poor brother Josef swallowed a nail yesterday while he was fixing the door for my other brother Nicholas. Nicholas came in to yell at Josef for making so much noise and Josef turned to yell back, swallowing the nail in his rage. My Dad rushed him to the E.R. where the did a whole bunch of x-rays. Then they poked him full of holes (his veins are very deep.) to give him an I.V. My brother thankfully has a high pain tolerance like my Mom. He is also blessed with the ability to heal quickly but with the nail in his stomach the doctors doubted he'd heal from a nail scrap on the inside.
The doctors sedated him and then stuck a scope down his throat. They didn't grab it the first time but this morning they tried again and grabbed it! I was so thankful to hear my brother was ok. We were all pretty scared.

What I used for the Saint Patrick's Day Look:
Eyes-
TFSI
Fyrinnae PE
Fyrinnae e/s in Lief (A beetle like green used on the lid.)
Fyrinnae e/s in Danse Macabe (A bright lime green used in the crease.)
Fyrinnae e/s in Otherworld (The perfect sheer pale aqua highlight.)
Sugarpill e/s in Tipsy (A true green used under the eye.)
Almay Liquid eyeliner in black
Milani eyeliner in black
Mascara

What I used on the Forgotten Grey/Blue look:

Eyes-
TFSI
Fyrinnae Pixie Epoxy
High Voltage e/s in Electric Boogie (I think this is the color I'm not sure... I used it on the lid though.)
Sobe Botanicals e/s in Havok (A beautiful dove grey used in the crease. Smooth as buttah I tell you! Also used under the eye.)
Wet N Wild Night Elf e/s palette (The pale ivory to highlight and the red to fill in the brows.)
Almay liquid eyeliner in black
Milani eyeliner in black
mascara

Sorry I didn't get any good full face shots of either look. :( I wasn't really wearing any exciting lip colors or blushes so you aren't missing much. I'll have another look to show you guys tomorrow that I did today. :D I'm excited to show you since it was the first time I used Brazen cosmetic eyeshadow.
Stay tuned sprites!

  2. OMG - from the FB posts I thought he'd swallowed a finger nail, didn't realise it was a metal DIY nail (guess that's the drawback of being a foreigner, sometimes you just don't get it)...so glad he's ok :)
Those looks are fab, may I ask what you use for your eyebrows? They seem to have a slight red colour and I am looking for a not-too-much-in-your-face red that will go with my hair.
Thanksies and have a nice weekend xx

  5. I'm glad your brother is okay! I'm always afraid people will swallow nails when they hold them in their mouths!
BTW the green shadows look GREAT on you! And I admire your blending abilities. Something I suck at :(
