Secret Spring-fotd

I'm not usually one to wear white lids with a colored crease. I think it looks better on Jerry of Silhouette Scream then it does on me. But I wanted to challenge myself so I went for it. Sadly Sugarpill's poison plum does not blending on my eye. It gets really patchy depending on where I put it. I'm hoping that when Shrinkle (The owner of Sugarpill.) releases her new eye base poison plum blends over it. I'd still recommend the shadow of course, it's the perfect purple.

Eyes-
TFSI
Nyx jumbo pencil in milk (Used on the lid then blended down.)
Sugarpill poison plum (Blended onto the crease and lower lid. Blended down to soft purple color.)
Aromaleigh e/s in slyph (Matte based white with TONS of sparkles used on the lid.)
Estee Lauder e/s in pink ice (Frosty pale pink used to highlight.)
Milani eyeliner in black
Almay liquid liner in black
mascara
Wet n wild e/s palette in night elf (The red in the palette to fill in the eyebrows. :D)

Lips-
Estee lauder lipgloss in rose (Rosy pink with a gold undertone.)

It's so nice to be home and on Spring break. My fiance and I cleaned the house for my parents and cleaned our room from top to bottom. Today we're finally celebrating my birthday despite the fact that it was in December. My parents couldn't afford presents or even a birthday cake. We're also celebrating my youngest brother's birthday. He chose a rib place... it's a good thing I like salad lol. (It's the only think I'll be able to eat since I'm a vegetarian.)
I hope you guys are enjoying your weekends. I love you!

  2. Sugarpill's Poison Plum doesn't blend well for me either (I use Aromaleigh in Light for a base). It goes really patchy. So I don't use it much, which is a shame because the colour is lovely!! :( BTW I really like this look, I might try it on myself! :D

  4. WHAT! I love this, and I don't see any problems with your blending. (Admittedly, I suck at blending, but don't let that detract from my complimenting your look because it is RADTASTIC.) You, Jerry, and Heather are really conspiring to make a bitch (ahem, me) want to try this white lid thing herself. Even though it scares the bejesus out of her. :P

  5. Don't worry, Poison Plum is a POS when it comes to blending on me too (though I personally think your blending is flawless here <3) Inglot make a really nice matte purple in a similar colour that's quite soft (and therefore a bit powdery) and blends like a dream. I think matte purples must be a bit hard to make though bc MUFE #92 supposedly has a crap formula.

    ANYWAY, this is gorgeous! ^__^
