Sorry this was posted so late after I did this look. I've been sooo busy. My first day of school was today I really enjoyed it. I didn't want to go back to school after what happened at Kent but I'm glad I decided to go back to school even if it was my community college again. Thank you for supporting me. Holika Holika Clearing Petite BB Cream-Review

(Un-blended, you only need a very small amount to cover the whole face.)

(Blended into the skin, it is a bit darker then my own.)

The beauty world is a buzz with reviews of different BB creams! There are a TON of different brands that offer BB creams but I chose Holika Holika which has an adorable witch theme to their packaging. The brand has several different types of petite BB creams but I chose the skin clearing kind. I have oily skin and the cream claims to reduce sebum as well as clear the skin. It has a scent to it that I can only attribute to the Tea tree oil. I didn't like the scent but it didn't stay on the skin once applied.

The cream is a beige color that looked like it'd be to dark for me. Though the first time I blended it into my skin it looked great. It has a light coverage with a matte finish. I have ok skin with occasional break outs and discoloration on my cheeks and chin. I noticed that I didn't need concealer to hide the yellow,red and peach tones that showed through most tinted moisturizers.

If you are looking for a good tinted moisturizer I would recommend this. If you are spotty or have dark spots I would use a concealer with this. I'm sad to say that this product would not work with darker skin. Illamasqua does make a BB cream like foundation called skin base that has a wide range of colors. If you are pale like me and you are looking for a lighter coverage then you'd like this.

Dax is Pretty Hot-fotd

This isn't a Star Trek look but since we started Deep Space Nine I have developed a bit of a crush on Dax. She's kind of like the goau'ld from Stargate Sg-1 with a "snake" in her belly. (Instead of the head like in Stargate.) I like that when Dax and Kira are in the same scene they can talk about other things rather then just men. It pissed me off how in Star Trek Next Gen the women only seemed to talk about their sex lives to one another. I love Next Gen I do and I know the target audience are men but come on. COME ON. Actually I'm going to be writing an article for my friends blog about science fiction and women characters soon. I don't agree with everything she writes about but she's a great person to banter with.

Today is a Good Day to Die-Fotd

"Human females are so unattractive."

Oh man I love Klingons. They're strong, honorable and have great operas. Worf is one of my favorite characters from Next Generation. They're so strong they killed their own Gods. In the original Star Trek the Klingons were shown with heavily drawn on eyebrows and thickly bronzed faces. The tenseness between the Federation and the Klingons was suppose to represent the Cold War between America and Russia. In the movies and later shows the Klingons were changed to echo the Samuari. (This explains the strict honor system and the armor.)

Faking Merry-fotd

I've noticed a trend with my make-up as of lately. I've been doing way to many fast looks with my wet n wild palette. So I thought I'd branch out and do a "fast" look with some of my Darling Girl shadows. Sorry my posts have been so far and few between. It's been a busy few weeks. School is starting really soon so I think I'll do a back to school look like everyone else. :)

I'd also like to add that my chi flat iron came in the mail today! YAY STRAIGHT HAIR! My hair is really thick and naturally wavy. This is one of the few irons that can actually straighten/de frizz my hair. I'm so impressed. Should I write review?

Romulans are DICKS -FOTD

If there is anything I learned from watching all seven seasons of Star Trek Next Generation it's that Romulans are huge dicks. In case your not a Trekkie Romulans are Vulcans who left the Vulcan empire to be guided by their emotions. Vulcans are very logical while Romulans are very passionate and cunning. There are some Romulans that want to rejoin with the Vulcans but their movements is often times squashed by the Romulan Empire. Romulans look very similar to Vulcans with pointed ears, pointed eyebrows and blunt cut bangs. Their uniforms are silver and black so I picked those colors to represent their race. I also used green to show their blood lines with Vulcans. (Green is the color of their copper based blood.)

Guild of the Peach Firefly-fotd

If I ever make a steampunk guild of my own I want to name it The Peach Firefly. For some reason I am imaging Wil Wheaton in it with me wearing a green velvet top hat and goggles. I have a strange imagination. What can I say I have a little crush on Wil Wheaton. He's on Eureka playing a scientist who is battling for Felicia Day's affection against Fargo. Eureka and Warehouse 13 are my science fiction favorite shows right now. (Wait until the 27 though Doctor Who will be back on. My twitter time line will be full of ,ahem, "spoilers.")

Pandora's Autumn Glade-fotd

Sorry for the crappy full faced picture. I was in a rush. I did this look Friday for dinner with my fiance's Grandmother. I wanted to look nice but still wear something that was "me." Today I sold one of my old text books to Amazon. I got $80 as a gift card for the site so I'm buying my space ass a Chi flat iron and a My Little Pony doll. My collection has grown a bit now I have Rarity, Pinkie Pie (The first one.) and Cherliee. I did have Lily Blossom but I gave her to my best friend who has Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy. All my IRL friend have ponies now. DO NOT RESIST. YOU WILL BE ASSIMILATED. But yeah...I'm actually six now.

Important Announcement on High Voltage Cosmetics

Because of Recent evens I can no longer recommend High Voltage Cosmetics. It breaks my heart to say it but it has to be done. There have been several issues with the company that can't be brushed off. The first being that products have not been shipped off at the time allowed. People aren't even getting orders while others are getting different or just out right wrong orders. There is also the case of lip products and the primer going bad a lot faster then if they were freshly made. There is also the matter of the owner lying to get sales. Many feel hurt and betrayed but its important that we not let the personal matters get to us and just focus on what makes us happy. Make-up!

Detrivore Haul + First Impressions

I've been wanting to place an order with Detrivore since I first heard of them a few years ago. I'm not sure what was holding me back from ordering considering I really like the products. I order a few satin eyeshadows and a few from the regular collection. Jessi's swatches helped me pick out a few colors like Harpy and Kraken. Next time I place an order I'm getting more browns as well as a Death Valley.

The texture of the shadows remind me of Fyrinnae. A little "dry" with a good slip to them when they hit primer. I'd like to see the shadows in action with the Detrivore primer because I heard it's pretty rad. The colors look plain in the bag but applied over just a primer they are a lot more complex swatches/applied. My favorite shadows are Kraken and Resistance, you'd think it'd be Harpy but lately browns have been grabbing my attention more.

I'm defiantly going to place another order soon. I want to try the blush,the primer and the primer. The swatches of the blushes look beautiful.
