Mireille Eats Pins and Needles

Hello everyone!! I went Melonhead hunting last night. If you don't know what a Melonhead is you obviously don't live in NorthEast Ohio. There is this legend about a man who experimented on children to increase the size of their heads. Tired of being tortured by the psycho Doctor the children burned down the lab, murdered their captor and escaped into the Kirtland forest. They became feral from the harsh Ohio winters and scare food. Some say they even eat flesh. In the middle of the night driving on the moon light hills it's probably the scariest story you'll ever here.
We all scared our selves shit less. Oh boy I nearly cried when one of my friends screamed about something following the car. I also saw some pin pricks of light looking from up high on one of the trees. I'm hoping it was only an owl. *shudders* Ohio is full of Urban Legends like this one. I'd love to explore every one. X3

What I used for this Look:

Face-
Neutrogena Mineral Sheers Concealer kit
Nyx Blush in Mocha

Eyes-
Too Faced Eyeshadow Insurance
Fyrinnae Pixie Epoxy
Aromaleigh Eyeshadow in Mireille ( A bright cool pink based purple used with a flat brush on the lid.)
Hi-Fi Eyeshadow in Pins and Needles ( A bright pink placed in the crease with a small brush than blended outwards.)
Aromaleigh Eyeshadow in Slyph ( A matte white based eyeshadow with loads of sparkles used as the highlight.)
Urban Decay 24/7 Eyeliner in Zero
Almay Liquid eyeliner in Onyx
Maybelline Colossal Lash Mascara

Lips-
Morgana Minerals Lipstick in Blue Azalea ( A bright pink with a blue sheen, applied softly and blended over lips to make sheer.)

:D I want to hear your creepy stories please! Whether or not it has to do with Urban Legends anything creepy will do. Please and thank you~!

  1. Lovely look! And god, that is a terrifying story!
The creepiest urban legend i've heard is that there's a girl sleeping who is waken up by her dog barking. She puts her hand over the edge of the bed and the dog stops barking and starts licking her hand. In the morning she wakes up and finds her dog dead and written on the wall in blood is 'people can lick too!'.
    shudder!

  3. I love the look! Never heard of either of those stories! Eww creepy. Glad Phaedra sleeps in bed with me. If she barks, I wake up and look around. I also know where the baseball bat is located.

  5. Holy crap, I need to move to Ohio. I love scary shit like that, but I dont think I'd go looking for them in case I got murdered and raped by a regular sociopath D:

I dont think my city has any good urban legends (being that it's pretty much a surfing and tourist hub) but I looove reading generic ones online. :) I love all those cryptozoology type ones too, like the chupacabra

Oh, and the look is beautiful too :3 purples really suit you! And the fact that you can sheer out Azalea Blue makes me want it even more.

Phyrra, Mika, and Lillian- The melonhead legend is pretty big in Michigan too.I love stories like these!
Silhouette- DUDE we have like THOUSANDS of Urban Legends/ Haunted places here. I live close to one of the biggest Marsh's in the state and their is another story about the "Grass Man" related to Big Foot. Now I have never seen this critter either but *shudders* it's scary to think about something that big near me.

  7. Omg that sounds so cool :) I am obsessed with urban legends, hauntings, cryptozoology, etc. There is this book series called Weird USA, and I have the Weird Illinois one. It tells you tons of urban legends about the state, and even kind of how to get to some of the places. I like using google to find out supposed haunted places in close towns and then going ghost hunting :D There was this supposedly haunted house a few streets down from mine. I went there and it was REALLY creepy, I think it was because I was scared of wayward hobos, not ghosts though lol. I don't think it was actually haunted. Someone burned the house down a few weeks ago.
