Boogie Woogie Bugel Gal-fotd

Classy and safe like your Mother's favorite perfume. Or maybe when you think of a pin-up inspired look you think of Bettie Page with her legs akimbo batting her long lashes at you. A retro kind of sexy that still smolders through the modern age. I like doing pin-up looks when I want to look classy fast. (Especially when I see my fiance's parents. They don't like my colorful make-up.) I did a pin-up inspired hair style but I couldn't get it in frame without looking silly. I was a side part with a bandana for a head band and double ponytails. I TRIED to do victory curls but I could not do them for the life of me! Maybe it's because my ends are fried from dying my hair so often. I'm not sure.
Speaking of hair dying I'm dying my hair a box brown tomorrow. It's pretty reddish brown that I've used in the past. (Like high school past.) My ends are really dry and I was wondering what I should do to re-hydrate or "fix" the broken ends. I condition daily and skip shampooing every other day. My hair has always been healthy so broken ends are new to me.

What I used:

Brows- (Pin up chicks have striking brows to define their eyes.)
Nyx Chocolate e/s (A dark brown used on the arch and outer wing.)
Nyx Sahara (Medium brown used to define and create shape.)

Eyes-
TFSI
Wet n Wild Vanity palette
-Light matte ivory used on the lid and to highlight the brow bone.
-Sandy tan matte used in the crease to create the shape, blended out softly.
-Warm chocolate matte brown used on the outer crease.
Almay liquid eyeliner in black
Milani eyeliner in black
Mascara
(Accent lashes would be ideal for this look.)

lips-
Hot Topic Red lip liner
Nyx Jumbo lip pencil in Dark Red

If you want to make this a bit more modern I suggest using a yellow on the lid with a warm chocolate brown in the crease and bright pink lips.
My bandana was thrown at me by a Macy's float worker at the Columbus Pride I went to on Saturday. If you guys are interested in seeing some pictures of the Pride parade I'll defiantly post them.
