It's been a crappy few weeks. A lot of you who follow me on Twitter know what's happening. Thank you so much for your support and kind words. Your friendships mean everything to me. I'm not sure I would have been able to handle this tough time without your help. *Big Internet Hug*

On a lighter note my Brazen Cosmetics order came today. I knew it was going to come because Ohio was hit with a heat wave. My stuff usually comes during a weather change. My products were a bit warm from the weather but nothing seemed melty. I ordered the Mystery Grab Bag half expecting it to be full of samples. Uhm no. It had a full sized perfume, lip gloss and eyeshadow along with two samples that were given to me for free. Holy crap what a deal! I'm struggling a bit with the lip gloss though. I tried putting it on with a brush but it streaked on my top lip. (Most glosses do that though because my lips are slopped weird.)

Hmm I think I'm going to do a review on Persephone Minerals next. I only have a few of the shadows but I've fallen in love with them.

Hopefully soon my BFF will give into letting me do her make-up. I drew up a face chart for her after a long discussion. We're both getting back into our gothy roots so I kind of want to do her up like the bad ass she is. Sadly she's lazy when it comes to removing make-up and whines at me when I do heavy make-up on her. I can't blame her, sometimes it takes a lot to remove some of my more dramatic looks.

Morgana Cryptoria-A review

Morgana Cryptoria is a wonderful all stop shop for your gothy, punky and make-up lovin needs. There is hair dye, brushes and GLITTER! Not to mention the beautifully made cosmetics like lipstick, eyeshadow, mineral veils and foundation for the paler end of the spectrum. The costumer service is really great and the owner Melissa is really nice.

Lipstick-

Morgana is famous for their wide range of lip colors. There are pinks, reds, greens, purples, blues, yellows and even blacks. This gives many women the chance to explore their creative side and lend a helping hand to goths who want a cruelty free black. The formula is creamy, lasts long, and isn't drying. I lick my lips a lot so usually my lip color fades quickly. I find that my Morgana colors last far longer then any other lipstick I own.

Some of their lip colors are a bit lacking in the pigmentation department but I have only encountered one that has that problem. My pot of Shrieking Violet is a bit hard, the actual purple takes a few layers to accurately "purple-fy" the lips. However the other three lipsticks I own are just plain wonderful. Roses and Violets has become my favorite lip color ever. I used to reach for my Nyx round lipstick in Tea Rose but now I grab my Holy Grail first. Friends have tried to borrow it from me before but I usually shout "NO!"

Pigmentation: 9/10 Some of the lipsticks are less pigmented then others.

Application/Staying power: 10/10 Applied well, always creamy and wonderful.

Price: 8/10 Could be a bit cheaper but these are crafted well.

Eyes shadow-

I love these shadows. They apply well, last for a long time on the right primer, and look great. When I apply them they stay bright after blending. Druscilla is my favorite hot pink eyeshadow, when I apply it I always get compliments. I usually use Pixie Epoxy as a base for my eyeshadow after my primer. I noticed that Morgana's eyeshadows apply a bit patchy over the pixie epoxy. However the shadow do well over the nyx jumbo eyeshadow pencils and over just plain primer.

Pigmentation: 10/10

Application/Blending: 9/10 I love how smooth they apply but I took a point off for the P.E. issue.

Price: 10/10 The price is good too, especially when the shadows are on sale.

Melissa frequently has Full Moon sales where select items are up to half off. Around the Holidays there are even better sales on the cosmetics. That's when I usually snatch up the great deals. I'm hoping to grab her most frequent eyeshadow collections the next time she has a sale. The Shifty Eyed collection is freaking BEAUTIFUL! You should check out the swatches on the website. I'm seriously in love with Totally Tubular which is a lipstick. From what I understand it's a dupe of Mac's Candy Yum Yum, which is one of my lust products that I can never find.

All in all I think you should check out the site. You will love the products, especially the lipsticks!

I finally started feeling better yesterday after forcing myself to get out of bed. I worked outside for a bit, the sun made me feel a lot better. I applied this around seven at night the shadow on the jumbo pencil didn't last for very long. I think it would have been better if I had just applied it over the TFSI. I wish I had something interesting to blog about but uhm... I don't.

Did you order anything from the heartsy/Concrete Minerals sale? I splurged a bit because heartsy gives you five dollars for joining and I only needed four dollars to actually buy the coupon. I was pretty pleased. I bought Wicked,Temptress and Hearts. I wish I had gotten Prude or Unity but those can be saved for other purchases. Have you tried Concrete Minerals? What do you think? I'd love to hear your thoughts.

Technicolor Dream World-Fotd

So I read this article on yahoo where a girl had her boyfriend pick her clothes out for a week. It seemed like a great idea actually. So I asked my fiance,Shaun, to pick out three colors for me to wear the next day. He picked out an eyeshadow he called a TARDIS blue, a bright green and a beautiful red. I was a little frightened at first since I didn't know how the heck I was going to wear it. I decided to try a cut crease since I hadn't done one in a while. I love the way it turned out! I kind of wish that I had left the lid all one color and used the blue to "cut the crease." I think I blended pretty badly on the lid. I'm going to ask him to do this every so often cause this was defiantly fun.

Hi-Chews-Contest Entry/fotd

Hi-chews are a deliciously chewy, as the name suggests, starburst like candy from Japan. They come in a few different flavors as well as some limited edition ones. My favorite flavors are the melon, strawberry, lychee and cherry ones. Those are the flavors I based the look on. I wish I had added some lemon or orange too but I didn't think of it at the time.

It's very cold and rainy right now. I need a dab of sunshine right now and guzzling orange juice just isn't enough. This warm, tropical flower like look came to mind when I was digging through my eyeshadow drawer. I needed some cheering up today. So I plugged myself into some anime and turned off my brain. Thank goodness for friends, cookies and anime otherwise I'd go crazy. *sigh*

This look is based on several lolita looks I've seen on tumblr recently. I love the lolita and gothic lolita lifestyle/dress but I don't have the money or the sewing ability to make my own dresses. (Plus the dress companies rarely make those types of clothes in my size. TT.TT) Do you like any Japanese sub-cultures? I'm crazy for all Japanese fads to be honest. :D

This is my good friend Natalie or as she's known on the interwebs as Little Isis. I met her in high school when she fell off of our bus and my fiance went to rescue her. After we dusted her off we discovered we all liked the same things we became fast friends. Lets fast forward to now, Natalie is a famous political blogger who is working on a novel, writes for her school news paper and is majoring in social work. I love Criminal Minds. It's become one of my favorite shows thanks to the tech goddess Penelope Garcia. Seriously this girl is awesome. She's smart, classy and dresses really cute. Her make-up is always impeccable I could go on fawning about her forever. She's the reason I dyed my hair red with a pink streak. Whilst watching it yesterday night I noticed she had very shimmery/glittery green lid color with a purple lower lash line. I'm pretty sure she was wearing m.a.c.'s candy yum yum lipstick which looked really cute with her bright pink cheeks.

Bitter Frost-fotd

I haven't worn blue in a while which surprises me since I love blue. I used to hate it when I was younger. The only blue eyeshadow I could find were the frosty baby blue that girls would apply all the way up to the brow bone. One of my Mom's friends would wear this look daily with thick black eyeliner and spidery lashes. It wasn't till I started getting into beauty blogging that I grew to love blue eyeshadow. What's your opinion on blue eyeshadow? Do you love it or hate it?

Golden Spring-fotd

I haven't been doing a lot of creative looks lately. When I go out I either grab a bright color with it's darker counter part or I slap on some eyeliner. It was getting boring. I drew inspiration from the budding leaves on the trees. They look golden with light spots of spring green. It's beautiful! I love spring time!

SCHOOL IS OVER! I have three months of freedom until school starts again. I really love Kent and I miss my friends but I'm glad to be home. I wish my car wasn't broken though. I feel like I've lost a bit of freedom. *sigh* Hopefully we'll have the car fixed soon so I can get a job. (And thus BUY MORE MAKE-UP! I mean pay off my credit card bill... paying off my bill is what I meant.)
